Respectfully I disagree on the dance being easy. As a dancer myself, this had to be one of the most tiring and lock heavy choreos. It also has elements taken from Krump, one of the hardest dances to execute properly. This Choreo can look messy as hell if not done well. The amount of popping alone in the Choreo is enough to give me joint pain just by looking at it. He makes it look easy but it definitely is not

As an experienced dancer, I actually find this choreo very tiring and difficult. Hyunjin needs to execute the steps in every beat powerfully. It’s like, execute this step within 2 seconds and then change steps and execute it within 3 seconds. He also needs to do it widely, so it means he must execute it fast. Take, for example, a clock ticking but kinda in fast forward. And he only gets a chance to breath for a moment in the last part. And I also see that he vibrates his body few times and he did it neatly. When it comes to vibration you need to have a direction, if not, it will look messy and funny. (I hate this type of dance because I can’t execute it well. hahaha) And I personally think Hyunjin suits this style, knowing how he dances. He dances powerfully and widely. In addition, he uses his face very well. What a talented and eye-candy young man! The possibility that you didn’t see the technicality is maybe he makes it look easy? And the back up dancers are good too by the way. I’m the same age as him though, hahaha, but I can’t dance anymore, because I need to focus on my studies. And I got an injured knee and ankle.

It may look easy but according to Hyunjin this dance feels like dancing 5x to Thunderous because there was no time to breathe in between.

Hyunjin just makes the dance look easy. He is that good of a dancer. He himself said in the behind the scenes video how hard he practiced and how he never danced something that was this tiring. Maybe you could check that out as well. It is really interesting to see the whole process.

Dancers can definitely tell you it may look easy because he makes it look easy but it’s far from it. It’s takes a lot of strength and control, it’s mostly krumping style which isn’t something just anyone can do easily.

Hyunjin said this was not the most difficult choreography but it was the most exhausting one .

My bias did what needed to be done. THE SUIT. HIS EYES. THE TATTOOSSSS. Always happy to see him get opportunities like this considering the past year he's had. He said this choreography is like dancing to Thunderous 5 times it's difficult but it's more exhausting than difficult. You should definitely react to his Playing With Fire and When The Party's Over performances He choreographed them both himself and they are truly masterpieces to me.

It was definitely not easy, he just made it look easy. The choreo was very detailed and technical and executed well by hyunjin and the dancers. You can check hyunjin's playing with fire cover, he choreographed it himself. It's the epic one.

As you're wondering, they choose like the main dancers of the group who have a comeback recently! and yes ofc our amazing hyunjin did it again

no it might look easy to you but hyunjin said that this is probably the most difficult choreo he has ever learnt! he practised during schedule and still did an amazing job :)

This dance and moves are so difficult it's hyunjin made easy look to u ,he learned it just in 10 days while he had busy schedule with comeback NOEASY promotion also Japanese comeback promotion and video call he even didn't sleep he even cut his long hair for this concept he lost weight too hyunjin worked hard he's really reminds me of kai and teamin style he's the only 4th gen boy can do this, his facial expressions is everything

This is definitely one of those dances that deceives! Artist of the Month is definitely a chance for the chosen idol to showcase perhaps a more theatrical performance and that is what sets Studio Choom's videos apart from a dance practice where the focus isn't always about the whole performance. BUT as someone who has trained and performed in so many different styles, the only reason this may look easy to someone is because Hyunjin is incredible at performing. He is pushing so hard, putting real physical power behind movements instead of just placing his body... and being able to shift between tempo and dynamic so seamlessly takes IMMENSE control that even a lot of professional dancers find difficult to sustain. This amount of accuracy and sharpness is SO difficult to execute and it would become clear very quickly just how many considerations he is making in the space of seconds, if a less technical dancer performed this piece. He's doing what performers do best and masking any ounce of exhaustion by being completely in character. This dance is so intense actually and I honestly think it would've been a lot of adrenaline getting him through. He is also really good at popping and locking, which may only seem like small hits but it is essentially tensing and un-tensing your muscles very rapidly... which wears them out in a way thats different to the exhaustion you get from the cardio aspect of dancing. But I'm so glad that people are enjoying his performance! He's definitely a gem and its great to see people giving him his dues :)

This choreography wasn’t easy, I’m not sure where you got that from? It’s extremely complex. You have to relax very specific muscles while contacting others, in time and on beat and also ensure your face is telling a story. This is a dance that very few professional dancers would volunteer to do because if you do wrong there’s no hiding. It will show immediately.

Hey hun, if that ain't crazy difficult for you I would really like to see what is? Hyunjin undoubtedly learned the choreo fast, but he also took his time to perfect it. You can watch that in the behind. It takes immense power to hit every move so hard and a lot of control to be able to slow it down when needed.

Choom 춤 in Korean means dance/dancing, so that’s all Studio Choom focuses on: dance performances. There is also a behind the scenes for this performance, and you can see Hyunjin actually put a lot of thought into it and practiced hard, and for longer than just a day ^^

Disagreeing with the choreography being easy. You need to watch the choreo-record to see how difficult it is. Even professional dancers said it is very difficult. It took him days of practice to learn it. It is crazy difficult

I don't think this is easy at all..the amount of strength and control to need to execute the movements he did is insane. I'm not dancer but a watch a lot of dance. It may not be elaborate contemporary but this kind of dance is quite technical because you have to isolated parts of your body and use all your muscles to execute. I wish I had just a little bit of that strength 💪

Along with everyone else you guys should check out the rest of the artist of the months performances done by The BOYZ, ITZY, TXT, (G)-Idle, ATEEZ, IZ*ONE etc. Each group does a studio choom performance when they promote a comeback, it’s like one of the first performances they do for the song before they even do a live stage.

Pls check out artist of the month for ateez- wooyoung , txt - yeonjun, soojin - g(idle). And u should check out the behind the scenes for this to get an idea of how difficult this dance actually is cause as much as I love the production of studio choom sometimes we r so mesmerized by the camera work that we can't actually see the choreo. I used to dance as well and a good dancer is someone who makes a choreo look easy when it's not and that's exactly what hyunjin is doing

You were spot on because I also saw the Taemin movements. Hyunjin did say Taemin is an inspiration to him and he has done some short dance covers of Taemin’s. Hyunjin caught my eye because of his dancing and I’ve been hooked. Taemin is my ult bias and I always love the unique and amazing dancers. Hyunjin’s attitude and style brings his dance to the next level. Like you said, you don’t have to be perfect technically but it’s the performance, attitude and charisma which captivates you. You should check out Ateez’s Wooyoung Artist of the Month performance because he gives a lot of attitude.

Lol it’s not easy at all. Artist of the Month is not just a skilled dancer, but the expression, the silhouette and the flair they bring with their body. The fact he made you think the dance was easy just shows how much he perfected it. I don’t wanna be “THAT” person, but like, could you confidently say you, or any dancer for the matter, could learn THIS - the difficult moves, the facial expressions and the feels - in “one” day? Naw. Don’t underestimate the talent needed to be on AotM just because it’s too visually pleasing.

I also want to point out what we think is easy in choreo is the hardest. You should try doing twice TT. it looks simple and i basically out of it by the end

I disagree that the dance is easy ! It’s not easy at all . Probably u have to watch the video how Huinjin is learning the dance . As he said it’s the most difficult choreography he ever done . All the dance reactors said it’s very difficult choreography. Non of them said it’s easy .

hyunjin stated that the moves weren’t the thing that was super complicated and tiring but the amount of energy that was being used. as you saw he was doing a lot of krumping which if not done correctly aka aggressively can look extremely messy and lackluster as you probably well know. hyunjin also said this was the hardest dance he’s had to do and he felt like dying. in the BTS video you can see him basically gasping for air while practicing. hyunjin makes everything look easy bc of his determination and focus. also this is not meant to be a hate comment of any kind! just a little information

I really wanted this girl to dance this dance and post a video on this channel with this Hyunjin dance, in which the choreography is "not complicated". And for some reason it seems to me that this is her (unlike Hyunjin) just the "charisma" is not enough to dance it so that it is impossible to take your eyes off it.
