Love the bike, love exhaust, I use same brand for the sound. But the cleaner, nah should have gone with a tear drop air intake, to go more with the age of the bike. Update you were missing the cover. Looks good but still think a tear drop intake would have looked better.

On my 2002 Heritage Springer I did a big bore 95”, head work, Andrew’s 55G gear cams, Zippers performance air cleaner, V&H 2 into 1 w/ performance baffle, stock throttle body and stock injectors. Compression ratio is around 9:8-1. Tuned w/ USB-3. Just over 100Hp &100 TQ. Fun bike to rip around on! Wake up that 88! Like the pipes love the air cleaner. 👊🙌🇺🇸

It's crazy how much of a difference pipes can make. Had a Fatboy with the 103 and put the Short Shot Staggered on it and they sounded awesome.

i'm running a 1990 fxsts same as yours but older, it has the evo engine carburator with a cam and thunder header exhaust, she runs good, not as fast as my bagger but she's a cruiser. keep uo the good wrenchen, looks good.

I had a 2000 Dyna Wide Glide. I dremelled the baffles and hollowed out the stock slipons. Bike was loud and sounded great, plus nasty decel pop if I wanted. It was a little lean but I never had to tune it. It was also blue and silver. Something about blue and chrome.

I thought those the V&H shots with crossover were discontinued, I had 'em on my very first beautiful Harley Davidson, quite some years ago. I recomned pluggin' those o2 sensors on your year bike (removing 18 mm sensors won't throw a code) and go with a dynojet tuner, least that's what I did on when I had my 2004 softail. Nice neat sweet sled!....I got to tell you, the only bike that catch my eye among those 3 you got there, is your softail! I'm not really keen for baggers, and as sure as hell I do not like sportbikes!......softails rules cheers! 🍺😎

Great bike, nothing sounds like a twin cam! Those VH pipes sound great. I have a 2017 Dyna Wide Glide with the Bassani Sweepers on it, and it might be too loud. Might get the same pipes you did. Love the bike, keep up the great content!

Nice looking bike. I have a 2000 Softail Standard I bought in 2003. I run the same exhaust and I love the way it sounds. Mine has a carburetor. I love the twin cam motors. I also have 2007 Street Glide 96 cubic inch and my wife rides a 2011 Street Glide 103 cubic inch. Really looking forward to see what all you have planned for this bike. Be safe brother man.

Love this content John! It Used to be so easy and so much fun to personalize our bikes back in the day. A lot more affordable too! Now it’s $3k for suspension, $5k for a stereo, thousands more for the motor etc. Love our Glides but have to wonder if we lost something along the way. I think you could start a real trend here! Hey John! I think you should call the bike “Papa Smurf”. I think that name fits perfectly because of the age of the bike. Also, Papa Smurf was the smartest and wisest of all the Smurfs and the bike is BLUE.
