Listening to this song and watching the hands of the younger generation raise their hands of worship of Almighty God causes my heart to soar and it brings tears to my eyes, tears of joy! Praising God for this band and their rendition of this wonderful son
I was leashing to this august 31,2021 at a car wash, got comfortable with the uncomfortable and was blasting it and had a Devine encounter because I was being obedient and worship in public . ( first time I ever blasted worship music and it was this song )
That is amazing. Good for you. Divine encounters like that are a true blessing from God and bring us directly into his loving presence. There is nothing like it.
Each time I hear this song, I cry like a baby because the wonder of God is just so vivid, but this version. ... Need I say more. You just blew me away. Thank you, dear Lord, for this beautiful talent. God is great. My God, how great You are!
Was sitting, deep in thought of the past few years, losses, hardships and experiences - Missing my wife so deeply that I could physically feel my insides hurting - and this song came to mind and I needed to hear it. This is an exceptionally well done version. Prayer request - That my precious wife's heart would soften and her eyes open to the Lord's Word and our marriage...and most importantly that God's people will find her and consistently share the saving and healing restorative message that God hates divorce and we are to love unconditionally, unendingly and as He loves us...as I love her. Let our reconciliation be an unbelievable testimony to our Lord, to reconciliation through Christ and to how we as believers, even in our sinfulness, can be forgiven and restored against all odds of this fallen world! *sigh*
Glory to God HALLELUJAH! I think this is the best version of this song that I've ever heard. May God continue to bless you young men. Stay strong and walk with God.
Love this Hymn, my favourite and my late Granddad's favourite. Whatever version of this hymn I hear always sends shivers down my spine. God bless you for sharing this
Rev 22;12 “Behold, I am coming soon, and My reward is with Me, to give to each one according to what he has done. What a wonderful song and promise rejected by millions of Christians. Think of it! It's in the song. The dead are in the grave till Christ shall come. Come Lord Jesus!
I am a jaded Catholic but have always loved this hymn. Every version I've heard brings me to tears - love Dolly Parton - but this one I love the best. Thank you!
Oh Lord, my God When I, in awesome wonder Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder Thy power throughout the universe displayed Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart Then I shall bow, in humble adoration And then proclaim, my God, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art How great Thou art, how great Thou art
I have just been transferred to a respite ward from critical. I was not afraid because for four hours I was not alone. My wonderful missus, Julie, brought my phone with this preset. As I returned to consciousness she bounced the head phones on me and the boys roared their love of our lord. Still my body ached and complained but we knew all shall be well. Grace we love you, the commenters, the boys in the band but most of all our lord and saviour. Grace you are aptly named. XX wobbly and big jules. From NE Yorkshire.
I am a traditionalist with hymns, but I decided to "watch a bit" to see how bad it would be. WOW, was I wrong! These guys had all the feeling of the hymn, and all the respect for the Lord. Phenominal Job!!! Thanks for posting this.
O Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder Thy power throughout the universe displayed Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art And when I think of God, His Son not sparing Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing He bled and died to take away my sin Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation And lead me home, what joy shall fill my heart Then I shall bow with humble adoration And then proclaim, my God, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee How great Thou art, how great Thou art
This is it! The best version ever. I have heard many version of this songs. Nothing can ever come close to this one. What a wonderful sound. Everyone is excellent.
I was just singing to this version on the way home from church while our pastor was playing it in his car. I wasn't able to get the band name so I tried here in youtube. I love it. HOW GREAT THOU ART LORD!
