You can pretty much guarantee that there are singers within every Maori family it’s what they do when families get together for any occasion, we grew up singing from babies in fact our history and traditions have it that babies are sung to while they are in the womb facts

It's standard for Maori families to sing together. Your singing voice is established by age 3. By the time they start school they have learnt to harmonise, sing lead, sing in a higher or lower octave to emphasise the delivery. Their ability to harmonise is significantly enhanced by being able to sing in 1/4 notes - Caucasians can only get to 1/2 notes. Btw Stan can no longer use his abdomen to sing as he removed his stomach because of cancer.
