Thank you! And yes actually, I created the channel TBIBlaine23, but I’ve taken a step back because I saw it as lazy content and wanted to have an outlet to talk about hockey creatively. So I’ve gotten the editing skills and stuff pretty well down, it’s just the script writing and talking to the camera I’m still getting used to haha.
🚨 Mike Bossy 🚨 4 Cups &….. Bossy is the NHL's all-time leader in average goals scored per regular season game, holds the NHL's third-highest all-time average points scored per regular season game, and is the second of five players to score 50 goals in 50 games, being the first to accomplish this feat 36 years after Maurice Richard did so. He is tied for the record for most 50-goal seasons with Wayne Gretzky and Alexander Ovechkin with nine, though his were consecutive as opposed to Gretzky's and Ovechkin's being non-consecutive; he thus is the sole record-holder for most consecutive 50-goal seasons.
He also played in an era with heavier equipment, bigger hits, the 2 line pass rule, and less knowledge about efficient diet and exercise. The era someone played in does not define their skill, how much they stood above their peers does.
Why do people think goalie equipment was smaller back then? The NHL rules make sure that goalie leg pads, blocker and glove are all smaller today by measurement than in Gretzky's day.
I always say to people that say Gretzky isnt the greatest. Gretzky is roughly 950 career points ahead of the number 2 guy. Seeing that it takes 1000 points to get in the Hall of Fame thats means that Gretzky is roughly a Hall of Fame career ahead of his closest competition in career points.
There are many people in the hall that don't have 1,000 points. Not sure where you get that from. Bobby Orr is a Hall of Famer with less than 1,000 points. There are people with no points in the Hall.
