The spooky season is HERE and I couldn't be happier! But to be honest, I wasn't always a huge fan of Halloween. I was pretty easy to scare as a kid, so whenever October rolled around I got pretty on edge. I've had a complicated relationship with Halloween over the years, so today I wanna tell you guys the story of how I overcame my fear of Halloween...before it was all ruined.

Literally same, I imagine though that this was before insulin pumps that could just give you insulin whenever were invented, sooo... You couldn't just be lazy and put in carbs, you had to withdraw insulin and inject it into yourself, which can break up the flow a bit and take away from the satisfaction. Also, insulin is expensive.

I actually had similar experiences, even with the whole Ghostface incident... Sort of. You see, it was at a Halloween party in our classroom and the mask was one that had a pump that actually flowed (fake) blood through the mask... which was designed like a human heart. I ended up being in the corner, nearly vomiting/passing out several times that day, and I discovered I had a fear of blood/gore. The hard way.

Omg I feel so bad for you. I figured out my fear for blood/gore in school as well. We were watching a coyote peterson video, the dude got bit by a snake purposefully, Looked at the blood too long, and long story short I blacked out, fell on the ground, choked on air, was shaking on the ground like a seizure, and went to the er.

5:17 I know that exact mask you’re talking about. I had a similar experience. I was trick-or-treating in my neighborhood when an older kid dressed in the mask came up. I wasn’t scared until the mask started dripping with fake blood. It had some sort of thing that controlled the blood inside. I freaked the fuck out. I think that’s where my fear of blood came from.

I got 2 stories, 1st: I was like 4 - 6 or something, my grandparents bought me a Halloween costume.. They said "It requires lungs and a heart." I didn't want the costume to eat my organs. 2nd: recently, I couldn't bring the trash back to where it should be (outside), I was gonna put it against the fence and clip it to a string so we can open it from the second floor back - deck. There was a cicada skin.. I didn't go back..

I remember when I was young, people kept saying my mom almost looks like the girl from the grudge. So she decided to dress up as her and when we went to my cousins house to pick them up for trick or treating my aunt looked through the peep hole and when she saw my mom, she had a mini heart attack. I relate to Foafy before his NBC phase. I had the same relationship with Halloween. I hated Party City and I faked being sick to get out of the Halloween decorations at my preschool. After 12 years of my crying my way out of Six Flag’ Fright Fest, I manned up.
