Another example of why we all should include the American Farmer in our prayers. When one falls on hard luck the rest rally around him/her so as to keep them going. If the rest of us would practice the farmers values this world would be a better place.

When I was a boy we had a neighbor that was burned badly baling straw. The community helped get hay and straw in and later in a two day blitz every farmer in the valley harvested his potatoes and sugar beets. The church ladies made lunch both days and all pitched in where they could. At 14 I felt proud to be a member of the community and to be a small part of a grand undertaking.

I started watching your video (I never miss them) and started to cry when you told about your good neighbor. On October 22, 1975, my dad suddenly passed away out by our corn crib. It was horrible. He was 49 years old. Family and friends came and got dad and mom's corn and beans finished. We live in such an evil world that does not see how the majority of us live. Thanks for showing such love to your friends. Oh, my dad loved the Lord. I will see him some day.

Folks, just about every farmer/rancher are good people like this. Not all, but here in central Indiana where I live we all the time are helping out those who are unable to get their crops in. And like this situation here, when you get 10 farmers all with their own equipment focused on a job, there's some serious stuff getting done. I've seen 6 combines in one field just to knock it out quick. And it's not just the farmers. We have the CO/OP donate fuel, local restaurants feeding everyone and the local John Deere dealer helping out with things like donating grease, filters and other consumables. It's a real community effort and the relief on the face of the farmer who knows he'll get his crops in is a special sight. If all the world operated like farm communities, we would have a special world indeed

This is great. I do believe our farmers are the backbone of america. The conserative values is what we need in the world today. Question. Im not a farmer. Im a full blooded navajo. Who builds powerlines. The cones on the combine are adjustable or is it standard to plant the rows the same distance apart?

Its not just in America but all over the world, farmers will always look out for one another because no one else will. You could argue over a ditch or a cow breaking a fence but when they are sick or hard times, you'll drop everything and help them. Here in Ireland 🇮🇪 across the sea in the uk 🇬🇧. Farming communities look after themselves

Farmer's helping farmer is AWESOME. 30+ years ago when I was 18 and going to school my father was diagnosis with eye cancer during harvest season in MI. We had a dairy farm and the milk man put out the call when he seen me in the morning instead of my dad. I never worked so hard in my life, milking 30 head twice a day and then emptying all of the neighbors wagons/ trucks at 8pm then up at 0500 for milking. At my father's funeral all of the local farmers that my father has helped over his 80 years showed up and expressed their gratitude for his assistance over the years. He covered their chores/milking during State FAA conventions to bringing his 10K generator or during power outages so they could milk their cows. Enjoy this friendship, once out of this environment you will rarely be in another supportive group such as this.

Helping your neighbors is how it’s supposed to be everywhere! That’s how it is here on the South Plains of Texas every year due to illness or death someone’s family needs help with cotton harvest. There is nothing more beautiful and emotional than seeing all the farmers harvesting all through the night to aid another family and I know of some who went right back to their own harvest when the sun came up. Something about those gigantic lights on the combines that puts a giant knot in your throat and tears in your eyes. As teenagers and young adults we’d all get together and go sit off the Interstate and just watch harvest. Now the equipment is gigantic! Keeping all our farmers everywhere in our prayers. 💔🙏🏻
