Being a fat kid is extremely underrated. So many of those dudes become extremely strong later in life and often have good jawlines and facial features. I got to around 200 at most when I was in highschool at 6'2" and I honestly wish I got bigger. I'm 256 now.
Great interview, Shane is a beast. Keep up the work Sika, you guys put out fantastic content. I've learned a lot from your videos. Thank you and cheers!
@@AndrogenReceptor01 calories arent the reason hes strong and jacked beyond belief you doofus, you could eat 10k calories worth of fats and no human would be able to activate the mechanisms needed to create that amount of ssm, absolute lunkhead.
Ahh to be a teenager again and drink a gallon of milk on the regular and not even think twice about it. I don't miss being an awkward, clumsy little shitbird, but I miss milkshakes.
I don't know the guy, nor the podcast, but the title catched my attention. Gaining 60kg bodyweight in less than a year isn't healthy at all... 😞 Some young guys want to be as strong as possible and want it now ! ... so they push the limits of what is possible, but at the same time we have never seen so much deaths at such a young age than right now in the fitness/strenght industry, which is sad in my opinion... A more healthy way is taking the time to get strong, and let the body recover. Getting big and strong takes time, and if you are not willing to put the time and effort, one day you'll regret taking shortcuts in life. Take care guys, be strong and healthy ! 💪
@@tjcogger1974 Well, he won't be the "best powerlifter in the world" if he doesn't take care of his health. Other facts, to strenghen tendons take time. Your muscles can get stronger than your tendons and one day the tendons will tear because of that. We see that often in strongmen and powerlifting. To get reallly strong, you've got to be gifted, for sure, but you have to be clever. I still think gaining 60kg in 10 months isn't clever at all. Thank you for you reply, take care ! 💪
@@yan3066 the amount of hubris that you must have to try to give advice to one of the world's most elite powerlifters blows my mind. You can't optimize your health AND be the greatest lifter of all time. Those are conflicting goals.
@@tjcogger1974 I'm not giving advice to that guy. It's his life and he's doing what he wants with it. My comment is for the teenagers that want to follow his step and don't understand the consequences. What you don't get is many teenagers will try to do the same and harm themselves in the process. I know a lot of "athletes" are taking years off their life to achieve their goals. Quality years over quantity they will say. It's their choices. I'm here to put light on these decisions, so that young people won't take years off their life too when they don't even compete. I guess we won't come to an agreement looking at your attitude. It's okay. Have a nice day !
