I LOVED HERTA FROM THE START BECAUSE OF HER DESIGN but she didn't have any purpose for me until this version's release I'M SO GLAD SHE'S GONNA BE GOOD SOON IN PURE FICTION

So just Herta being Herta, but a game mode that more focused on her type of play style, thats nice

Herta finally gets to show us that she truly is an Emanator of Erudition

Hoyo has non stop been buffing Herta since 1.3 with enemies that summon a lot of weak minions like the True sting, the IPC Robot, Argenti and now they gave her a BiS support and a mode made for her(also, a "dream" told me we are getting JY LC in 2.0)

IMO Herta is a very amazing character specially if you just want to deal high amount of damage(The forgotten hall)

Yeah Herta and Himeko are both going to be great in the new mode, and everyone has Herta so it's really great for F2P players or people who started playing because of Dr Ratio :)

I’m not gonna build Herta yet because I’ve been building my Guinaifen, I’m trying to save Credits for Sparkle and I have an E1S1 Jing Yuan for Erudition, but I’m glad she’s getting some more use now since everyone clowned on her at the beginning of the game.

I've always loved Herta (she's been my main since the start of the game), but since getting Argenti and Ruan Mei, she's become INSANE for me. Ruan Mei gives her so many insane buffs, and she sub dps perfectly for Argenti. I love Herta

She’s dope and I want to build her, but I have Jingliu right now and only have a hunt fire character, no destruction or erudition so I’m prioritizing building Himeko. Jingliu is going to feel good with Herta, too, especially with Pela and/or Ruan Mei providing support to both.

herta is one of my fav characters lore-wise so it makes me so happy shes finally in the spotlight thanks to pure fiction

FINALLY MAXING OUT HER TRACES WAS WORTH IT

For the new players, shes actually very bottom tier and pure fiction may change in the future iterations to be DoT or debuff stacking (and not BE with mob-killing like it is now) so only build them to be decent in the short term IF you have the spare resources, Herta is not a long-term investment and you should be focused on making sure your account is well-rounded first before you super gimp your account trying to catch-up to the endgame/content

I just rebuilt my Herta with the Duke set and Jing Yuan’s light cone…she became the KURU KURU EMANATOR 😂 The Duke set and the DOT set cavern is the best place to farm atm you get good stuff for follow ups and dot team

I started building her even before 1.6 stream because i was sad that i didn’t get to use her that much when i started the game and also i got himekos light cone from the perma banner so… I’m happy that she will be useful

I've loved herta since the beginning and wanted her and tingyun the most, but she was quickly replaced by better characters. Now with Ruan Mei, Fu Xuan and Jingliu she is absolutely insane for the break build. What a pint-sized doll monster. Love it. EDIT: what do you mean not a relatable showcase? Having no money left is super relatable! :D :D

idk if u know this or not rehoo, but u can mimic pure fiction niche on the xiyan event stage they bring back to being permanent. u also will have the buffs etc and unlimited enemy spawns, or u just can not use the buffs

well pure fiction is going to need two teams, and so far the options are argenti, jing juan, himeko and herta. by now prob everyone that has been playing star rail since launch prob has at least one copy of himeko. personaly for one of the teams ill prob go Himeko Herta Ruan Mei and prob Luocha since my Himeko and herta arent that well geared so my stronger healer would be better for a more squishy team. as for team one ill prob go with Jingliu and Blade, since both of them still do aoe and they are fairly efficient on skill point usage the remaining spots really depends on what enemies we are actually getting, might switch out someone with jing juan, bronya defo gona go on team 1 as for healer or sustain honestly cant decide if its going to be needed at all since if not ill just throw in some buffer like tingyun

you could probably replace tingyun with topass for extra follow up + more damage

I built her with gears as she is the only playable ice character back then after that i ditched her for having stronger options

I have so much characters to build and not enough resources

i always use Herta for farming materials, so fast kills, i dont like to play in auto so Herta is the fastest for clearing waves of enemies.

Why not Birth of the Self lightcone?

For what it's worth my end of year thing with black swan said Herta was my number one used companion and I have S5 Breakfast, so I think your analysis is still apt. Herta is really good, but it's usually against specific enemies, like the deer, the sanctius medicus general and the team leader boss. Also while most people think MoC is the be all end all, it really isn't when Simulated Universe is a thing that's gotten two (2) major updates now and has blessings that can drastically change a character's performance. If you want to bully anything in SU, take Herta, put her on the remembrance path, get the blessings that give ice weakness and make all ice damage also blast, get some freezing/dissociation blessings and bring March 7th for good measure. Have fun curb stomping everything

I forgot Herta was even a usable character. I had zero reason to use her because everyone else I have does the same thing job but better. It’s extremely specific instances like this where she shines. I think her kit is horrible because of this. I personally think she needs a re-work, cuz as cool as this is, I still have her dead last on my priorities of characters to build.

I built her on my alt account and she's been absolutely destroying some of this new content, but she worked well with Topaz and Clara anyhow so

I never cared for any Erudition characters since they never felt necessary. However I do have her and Ying Juan lvl 80 and have LOTS of erudition trace materials saved up. Whoever performs the best during Pure Fiction, thats the one I will build.
