@@lemonmybeloved6863- Puerto Rican music is more overrated than Mexican music (reasoning why is cuz I hear more of that shit than Mexican music) and I'm Mexican
I am 100 💯 Mexican and it true I am from Mexico i speak fluent English and Spanish so I enjoy my culture if anybody out there is having trouble that knows Spanish but does not understand that much English never give up and keep going my first language was Spanish at age 3 I learned English and know I am 15 and I speak fluent so for those who want to speak Spanish don’t give up and learn the language bc I believe in you
Thanks man im 18 who is Colombian and Puerto Rican but from the US who is learning Spanish since english was my first language and i didnt grow up Speaking Spanish because my grandma didnt teach my mom and overtime i feel left out when other people speak spanish and if my grandma taught me my mom and my sister spanish at an earlier age then we would all be bilingual by now including most of my Cousins
@@chrisnarvaez3434 Do you speak the language? Does your mother speak the language? Are you visiting the countries regularly? Do you live like the people in those countries live (traditions etc.)? It's so random man. Just because your grandparents originate from there doesn't make you that. Same with some random americans with german roots saying they are German. No you're not. You've never been here, you have no ties to us, you don't know the language and after three generations of cheetos and dominos you're as american as it gets and you statement does nothing but land you on r/shitamericanssay. "I'm X but from the US" basically means "I'm american but I lack personality so I need to pretend I'm something so people think I'm interesting".
@@blockman18 its just the last chart hits from artists like J Balvin(In da Ghetto) in my opinion. Suavemente and one, two others are the rare exception
Danza Kaduro is easily one of the best SONGS of all time. And even a white boy like me can see that. You’re insane thinking something that iconic is 100% Hispanic, that shits 100% human
@@Waylonmorrin4687 That's not how it works. You cannot just know Hispanic culture and call yourself Hispanic, you have to actually be Hispanic. These songs are also very mainstream internationally, so of course she will know these songs.
Thank you so much my mom used to listen to suavemente and I never remembered what it was called and I didn’t ask her before she died thank you so much ❤
Danza Kuduro is from Portugal. Lucenzo composed, wrote and produced and sings that song. Don Omar asked Lucenzo to make a Spanish version with him. The original version is Lucenzo - Vem Dancar Kuduro.
As a spanish person (not really spanish because im from 🇦🇷) its my duty to say: *LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA DE LA MAMA*
I almost know all of these, that last one hit hard. My favorites are in da getto, El Apagón, RITMO’s a classic but I don’t really like it when it comes on radio, and suavemente.
