This is very very similar to making Brittle, I make every Christmas Peanut Brittle, Pecan Brittle, Cashew Brittle, looks the same as mine although I use Karo syrup in mine. Taste wonderful..

Wtf is light treacle and where do u get it? This video left me with more questions. Not instructive at all. Wasn't sure if the sugar converted to the golden syrup or added to the sugar, doesn't say how long to cook, nothing!

Thank you for your reply. I did a search for sugar free sponge candy, but all that came back were commercial sales of it sugar free, so it must be possible at least in part anyhow. But no recipes are available. Pecan pralines recipes are available But I have not been able to make them to my satisfaction anyway.

Biocarb is the fucked up short spelling for sodium bicarbonate...there is only one o in it. Sodium bicarbonate is the same as baking soda. This video sucks.
