Hey Mr. Kerry, I’ve been learning on Kerry’s Kamp and It’s crazy how much I’ve learned in the matter of 2 weeks. I feel myself leaving that beginner stage and I’m starting to understand the fretboard much better. I’ve played for 20 years but like the late great BB Mr. King to most. He said he should learn the guitar more. I bought a book to memorize the notes that should help me progress. I have heard of number system and need to learn it as well thx

I think this is just to add color to the chord. There are rules and the feelings. Most important for beginner is to understand and to play the nature of the chord. In C major scale, B is a minor chord so you can play any minor chord available if it sounds good to your ears.
