I love the distinction between planning and reflecting! I’ve been using my 4 notebooks similarly this year: I have an A5 TAN as my planner, an A6 Muji 1 page 1 day as a daily journal, an A6 horizontal weekly planner i was gifted for daily gratitude entries, and a muji A6 horizontal weekly for a weekly to-dos/ weekly reflections. Ohh this is so interesting!! I also use TAN A6 and a hobonichi A6 regularly but my use cases are totally flipped! I need a lot of space for day-to-day task management and use a migrating post it note system on my pencil board as my weekly overview to stay aligned with overall goals. But I can’t for the heck of me plan on a vertical weekly layout hahaha! So I use my TAN A6 for memory keeping about media 😂 and funny enough, I also use the TAN A6 monthly for habit tracking!! I get to change things up weekly if I get bored with tracking something so I that better than a usual yearlong habit tracker. Also - hello UC alum! Makes me feel a bit old hahaha so much time as passed - I miss campus!
Wow! I have to try the migrating post it notes system too - there are some weekly tasks that I can’t schedule right away, so it would be nice to have a place to host those lingering to dos. Also, I feel the same way when I talk to other more recent UC grads 😂 time passes fast!
Yes--100% about noting down non-recurring items in the weekly overview inside the TAN! I just started doing that, too. Thanks for the vid. Always looking for tips for my A6 TAN!
I'm currently using a softcover A6 Leuchtturm notebook as my EDC planner. I downsized from a Sterling Ink CP Horizontal Weeks. It's perfectly lightweight and small to fit in my bag. I've been debating about getting a 5 year journal for myself. I love Leuchtturm notebooks, but I'm not sure if I should get the 5 year journal. What is your opinion on the pros and cons of the Leuchtturm 5 year journal?
