Anatomy & Physiology is a pretty tough course for most people, so here are some of my studying tips and tricks that got me through the class. I hope this helps! :) #prenursing #studytips #anatomy #student #school #college #goodgrades
I've watched about ten vids similar to yours, but I found yours the best in terms of the "how". So many other vids were very generic. The specifics you detailed as well as the visual aids you provided were excellent. Hopefully I'll bring up my current D to at least a B lol 6:41 this was the top one I'm immediately going to implement!
I haven't done too well in Anatomy and Physiology 1, so I realize that I have to change my study habits for next semester. I love your ideas! Thank you so much!
Hey! I just wanted to say that I was super inspired by your flashcards. I never used flashcards to study because I didn't like making them, and for many classes, I'd need hundreds of cards. But by doing a full diagram on each card, it keeps the cards to a manageable number. I never thought of doing it that way. Anyway, I got so inspired by the idea that I'm taking the diagrams from my own A&P videos and creating a set of flash cards for people to use to study with. So I wanted to say thanks for the idea!
Thank you so much baby! I have 3 children and I go back to college in august. Last time I failed anatomy online. I appreciate you so much and may God bless you because you’re not a hater and you’re trying to help people. Most people make this a competition and I don’t do well in study groups. I like reading for myself, comprehending the info then I memorize it. Again THANK YOU.
Thank you so much for all of the video explanations of everything!!! I'm so inspired to do this because I am new to the STEM field and I haven't found a way that is effective by taking digital notes with virtual classes! I am definitely going to have to print them. So thank you for helping show efficiently you do it!!!!
Thank you for sharing all your study tips and quizlet! I'm going to start my pre-nursing courses later this month, your video really helped me to be well prepared for them.
Thank you Kali. I am starting anatomy on Friday and I already know it’s going to be time consuming . I see why you got an A. And that’s my goal as well.
Thank you for sharing your quizlet flash cards! Starting A&P Monday and the tips will be put to good use. I love the idea of printing slides to take notes. :)
Thank you so much for this insightful video, I am receiving my associates degree this fall, and I'm taking human anatomy this semester as an elective. Thank you for giving advice on methods of studying and grasping the material!
Today is Friday, and my A&P I class starts on Monday! I’m returning to school after a long time out in order to go to nursing school, so I know the importance of good study habits. Thanks for sharing yours (:
Quizlet gravity game is cool. My son uses it in middle school and when I started taking classes he showed me lol Getting study tips from a 12 yr old.....I haven’t tried it for a&p yet but when he studied Spanish u have to get the answer before the object gets to the bottom. It drops from the top so it’s basically just a timed version of flash cards or something.
Awesome Queen K... U R the bomb with your knowledge... I hope you achieve your dreams I actually gonna drive in AP course in a couple weeks and your study folder is well organized.
Thank you so much for this video! I’ll be starting A&P I this fall, I’ll be taking English, psychology and math as well, so I really needed some tips ❤️❤️
Awesome video! Thank you soo much for sharing your Quizlet Flashcards; you rock! I really like the way you organized your physical flashcards & your binders too. Good luck with all your classes!
Thank you for this, I had an F for 3 quizzes after I watched this video I took my fourth quiz I got a C due to time I didn’t complete the all quiz I could’ve pass it with an A this time, best video and easy to apply everything thank you so much🥰
WOW this is so good. i started three days ago and was looking for a way to study. still helping people over a year later :) thanks kalli! quizlets are LIFE SAVER
Hello Liz, I really love your stuff...everything is just properly organized and just somehow easy to find, I wanted to ask where you got the anatomy and physiology "papers" that you put together in that thick black covered book or something 😭, I would really love to get that, I love the fact that it has the preview questions which is what I want more 😭💗
Thank you so much Kalli my goal is to get an A or A+ and I am so thankful I came across this video. I love all your videos. I am following all these tips it will help alot as a first year Physio student. God bless you.
This is very helpful, I wish I would’ve tried this I wasted hrs with my study method 🤦🏾♀️.. I will try it this upcoming semester I got a D in both 1 & 2 anatomy classes
Your video is so helpful I just started A&P and this has been helping me so much. Also, do you know if I can find those pictures you put on your physical flashcards anywhere? Or did your professor create them?
Unfortunately those pictures were from my professor’s slides. You might be able to use ones from your professor’s slides though or could probably find some helpful ones off Google. Good luck to you in A&P!! 🫶🏼
Hi Kalli, Thanks for this video. It has a lot of great advise! Am I correct that you took A&P online, and did the Labs in person? I went to register for A&P1 today for this fall, and found out the classes is only online. I find that a little intimidating, but your video gives me hope haha
@Kalli Liz, thank you Kalli very much for these tips and your quizzlets. I am starting my program soon and I am so happy to find your videos. Beside all this tips, what type of books should I get for practice question in anatomy physiology, histology? I learn best through questions. Thanks and hope to hear from you.
You’re so welcome and good luck in your program!! I’m not sure what books could help with anatomy practice questions but Quizlet has lots of different anatomy and physiology study sets which can help you practice. On Quizlet you can take practice tests or play matching games and more. If you wanna try out that, my Quizlet is Kalli4499 and I have lots of anatomy and physiology sets on there. Hope this helps :)
@@Kalli4499 Thank you. I already got your quizzlets he he he. I am just a bit nervous with the Anatomy, Embryology and Histology and Anatomy lab. All of these classes are taken with medical students in my program. I am looking for a great start.
Good luck, you’ve got this!! I was super nervous to take A&P also but as long as you believe in yourself and put in the time/effort to study, you should do amazing! 💗
I received an A for AP1, AP2 and microbiology but I can’t remember any of the material now that I’m in nursing school lol. Only thing I really remember is phagocytes because it sounds funny.
CLASS SCHEDULE! make sure your schedule is A1 !! have much room for studying for exams n stuff. That's was the main reason I struggled, Not enough time for review.
hi, did you print out your entire text book for A&P Lab or did you only print out ceratin material you needed for A&P lectures and Diagrams you wanted to learn/study?
The A&P Lab binder I show in the video is actually an entire set of textbook lab manual pages I bought from my school bookstore! It was pre-printed and in packaging.
Thank you sooo much English is my 4th language and I am new college . I was so nervous about the anatomy and physiology . Your videos gave me hope and I opened your quizlet account and I will study with that. Do you have Professors lectures? Is yes could you put the link for us please 🙏
I’m glad this helped! Unfortunately I cannot link my professor’s lectures though but feel free to use my Quizlet study sets! :) My username is Kalli4499
Watching your video completely calmed my nerves about pre Ana taming and physiology course jitters! Lol I was wondering if u think taking medical term along with the anatomy physiology & lab would be too much to take together? Or ideal? Thanks
I haven’t taken medical terminology yet so I am not sure how much the workload is but I have heard its an easier to manage class so it should be okay to take with A&P with lab. This semester I am actually taking medical terminology and biology with lab so (workload wise) it should be the same as taking it with A&P with lab. Hope this helps!
@@Kalli4499 how was your medical terminology class? Was it too much ! Am thinking of taking A&P , human development and medical terminology this fall semester but am scared if am gonna make through. I heard that A&P is not an easy class My goal is to have 4.0 GPA with my nursing prerequisites
Oh no, I’m sorry you couldn’t find them! They should still be there! If you try typing in “Anatomy and Physiology Kalli4499” in the search engine, it might come up then. I’m glad the tips in my video helped though! 😊
I PASSED MY PRECLINICAL YEAR AND I WILL STUDY HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT AND I WILL ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY DURING NEXT SEMESTER AND I AM SO NERVOUS ABOUT THAT, BUT I FEEL BETTER WHEN I WATCHED UR VIDEO
How would you approach covering 20 chapters of Anatomy and Physiology 1 within one month? Is it possible to be well versed covering five chapters per week?
Girl I got a B+ in A&P I and that was a low grade for me. Ugh haha. I’m about to start A&P II before nursing 101 just so I don’t have to take them at the same time. I still wanna 🤮
I decided to switch from my notebook to a binder but not sure how big it should be. 1 inch? 1 1/2 inch? Fortunately, I'm just taking this class by itself but when I start to take more classes, I fear my backpack will be heavy.
This classes terminology does not seem complex, just A LOT of terminology. Would you say this class is tougher or easier than general chemistry 1 and 2?
For me personally, I found this class to be easier than Chemistry. However, they are both pretty rigorous courses and I know other people who did better in Chemistry but struggled in A&P, so I think the difficulty of the classes varies from person to person
