Really inspiring vid, man. I've just started playing for my college this year. It's been a pretty good experience, but I wanna keep improving. Thank God I found this treasure! I'd like to see more of your advices to get more rebounds and blocks. Greetings from Brazil!
Im a 9th grader thats 14 and am so thankful for your inspiration. During my middle school years i never made the team and was always bummed but decided to put work over the off season. 2022 started out rough as i broke both my feet in a span of 2 months. I finally made the team this year and wanted to thank you for inspiring me to keep pushing through.
I am 27 years old and still chasing my ball dreams. I came across your channel, very powerful and encouraging. I am following this journey. All the best my brother.
man, im 11th grader from a small town from Russia and u motivate me to move toward by increasing my athletism and other basketball skills. I want to say you that u are moving to the right direction and you will become the best nba player ever.
I’m a sophomore in high school on my varsity team. i made the team after working the most i ever had at any sport in the summer but i haven’t gotten the biggest chance to show i can play so i’m basically just riding the bench. watching this is awesome and i hope you get where you want to be!
Crazy I just started hooping last year but i new that i loved it within the first month have been averaging 10/6/1 your video's helped me improved so much keep dropping bangers! hope you break that record :)
Love the video bro. You’ve really inspired me to keep grinding to get a D1 offer. I started playing basketball 2 years ago (I’m 17) and I’ve worked hard enough to compete with high level highschool prospects. I hope I can make it before highschool is over.
Dakota you’re a huge inspiration for me. I’m a 5’10 13 year old who’s the team captain and PG for my 8th grade team. My dream is to go D1 and you’re helping me a lot. I watch all your vids. You’re a big inspiration for me man
Hey Dakota, I'm a 5'6 12 yr/o 7th grader and I would like to thank you so much for inspiring me, I'm a self-thought player that picked up basketball not more than a year ago, currently I'm a starter with only 4 ppg but you inspire me to do the work and train myself harder so tysm. My dream is to play D1 basketball and from there make it to the NBA.
i started hoopin at 12, I immediately started training hard, i just turned 15 a week ago, I'm about 5'9, i think I will be around 6'2 or 6'3 because my dad is 6'2 and all the guys in my family hit late growth spurts. I have improved so much and become a much better scorer, i'm hoping to go d1 one day.
Do not let height be a determinant factor for you to pursue a basketball career. You will definitely grow taller, but with the height you already have, you only need to become more skilled than the rest of the competition. Good luck
@@nicolasgains thank you, and of course, I have been working really hard, getting up to train before school, after school, now i have summer holidays and i've been working out everyday tryna make it happen
@@Kungi112 That's great news to hear, If you are that commited then it's just a matter of time. Also, remember that sleep is important as it will allow you to learn skills, drills& coordinate easier. Try to be consistent with the time you go to sleep and the time you wake up(get 9 hrs of actual sleep and not just going to bed assuming you Will instantly sleep). Happy holidays
Dakota, new videos comeback. I'm from Russia, I'm 17 years old, and when I found your channel, I got that you who I was wanting whole my life. Your Journey is awesome, and you are real live example. I wanna see more your videos about your lifestyle, games, tournaments, eating, trainings and all that jazz. But, I understand that you have tough day routine, but your videos is really helps to everyone, I'm sure 💯💯. Thanks a lot. Wish you have a big wins! 👌🏻✈️🏆
I’m a 12th grader and had my acl torn months ago, I only have 3 months to condition myself for college and hopefully I get to be picked for the varsity team. Your videos really are an inspiration for me to grind my way to become a great player 🙌🏼

I'm a freshman in college that goes to Syracuse university and always dreamed of playing college basketball. i am going to try out my sophomore year and I can say you have really help me to not give up and thank you for that
Hey Dakota I’m a 13 year old 7th grader so not that old yet but I just picked up a basketball for the first time early last year and I found u in about September and u have helped me improve so much thanks bro
Dakota you inspire me a lot and I dream of being a d1 and i train every week to get there and 8th grade going into high school next years hopefully i do good
Hey, I’m not sure if you went over it already but you talked about learning stretches during rehab that helped you release your tighter muscles and increase your performance. Would you be able to make video and pre game and post game stretching?
Hey Dakota, so I’m a 12 yr old and I just started getting serious abt basketball, and I got cut this year for 7th grade, so that motivated me now to get better, and I got way better. I got way more athletic since tryouts, and since the beginning of the year, and Im trying to surround myself with basketball in every aspect of my life. Now Im beating people that made the team at this gym I go to for basketball and workouts,Ik that doesn’t mean anything but Im building myself up from that, I’m going to the gym everyday now for a couple weeks ever since I started getting serious to work on my athleticism, and basketball. Im trying out for my first auu team in around 10 days, and people who did that team saying that I have a great chance of making it, but that doesn’t mean anything either, and I just stumbled across your channel, and Im gonna start trying to use some things that you do. Im hoping to have a career in basketball, and trying to make myself go d1, Ik it sounds like it’s out of a comic book and everything, but you got any advice for me to help on my journey? (Also Ik you prob don’t care bout this but I’ll tell u if I did make the team.)
I know I’m really late, but currently 14 going into 9th grade next year. But we have similar things going for us. I’m currently 6’2-6’3 and I went from C-team 3rd string to B-team 2nd string. Averaging 0 in everything to 4 pts, 10 rebounds, 15 assist, and 3 blocks. now I’m doing vertical training, while playing AAU and practicing everyday
I'm 15 years old and im 5'7 i might get to 5'9 or 5'10 beacuse of my dad. My hopes on getting in D1 went down after i realized i wasn't going to be tall enough. Even like that you're a big inspiration for me to do what i can even when everybody is taller than me
Hi Dakota, I was wondering if you could post a video about the stretches you do before dunks or basketball I tore my muscle because I was jumping to touch the rime( dunk ) and I don’t want it to happen again so if you could please make a video or reply with some it would be great
Dawg thanks for your help I really needed this I'm 5'11 at 13 year old and my mom is 5'7 and my dad is 5'9. I been playing center. I don't really know what to improve more but I hope you help.
Dakota, I’m a 14 year old and I started practicing at 12. I want to play D1 for a college like Mizzou, Clemson, OKS, schools like that. You have given me so much confidence to keep going. I’m a 5’6-5’7 8th grader and I play PG. If you don’t mind me asking, why did you pick FGCU over schools like. Clemson, Georgia, and Kansas State
can u make a video on ball handling and conditioning drills....pls hear my request .....cause i follow your videos only for improving my craft...love from india
Hi Dakota!I have a question, you think i can play college basketball with no history of playing lower division basketball. The reason is that in my city there is no basketball club/team.What do you think?
Yo Dakota for my middle school you gotta play AAU to make it but I’m from “that” side of town and it’s hard to play AAU for me like what I’m posed to do I need some advice, you think that you need to play AAU to play high level basketball
