hi muteace. as someone with cerebral palsy and gets a lot of pain when playing, i think it's so cool to see someone play a character as technical as peach as well as you do. i have low self-esteem due to my physical limitations but seeing you play so well always inspires me
Maister, Glutonny, Acola, Light, and Leo. 5 of the best wins imaginable all in one event. Then there's also your win against Sparg0 at Low Tide when I'd argue Sparg0 had temporarily taken Leo's title as the best. 6 top 10 wins all in the same year, that doesn't even include any other wins over them you may have gotten like your 3-2 win against Acola at LMMM. Absolutely crazy play, man. If you keep having rubs like this, you won't even be top 10, you'll be top 5
I've had carpal tunnel in both arms for 6 years. They've healed pretty well but the damage remains. You've truly inspired me to continue playing Ultimate even when life gets in the way.
Mr. United States Secretary of Defense, and Freyja connoisseur, I apologize for never touching my control stick when shielding. To be fair, I main Yoshi so I know nothing about shield pokes and keep forgetting about them when I move to my secondaries. But this is super enlightening, especially when you talked about how Light isn't just flinging out Bairs but he's aiming to get you on the ledge get up animation. Now I can gain a little more insight in trying to recreate similar oppressive ledge trapping pressure with Yoshi. I've seen Leo and Tweek post "How I won _____ tourney" videos and those videos are simply highlights with no commentary nor analysis on how they played. Here, I'm learning in class. Looking forward to your next run and runback with Leo.
hearing you talk about steve in particular and ways you think about the cooldowns and avoid his stupidity was really interesting thanks for the breakdown
this run was absolutely awesome, a true spectacle to watch, I was popping off after every set you won. You truly were the best Elden Ring player at Genesis 9.
So glad we got to see you play at your best. I know it was tough, but I really hope to see you perform like that at other tournaments. you have so much talent and it's frustrating to know that you are limited due to your condition, but I wish you the best of luck 🤞
Great comeback at gen9 Congratz sir you earned it.Samsora you and umeki inspired me 2 years ago to focus on my peach when i was about to give up on her (i only had online matches back then:quarantine) Keep up the good job!
Hey MuteAce, I'm not a longtime fan but I want you to know you are one of my favorite players to watch on stream. Some players make for better spectating and you are one of them. Subbed and wish you the best.
loved your first video! i really would enjoy if you went over other of your matches or future matches and go more into depth about them!! i feel like it could be really helpful for eveyone that loves ultimate :)
Wish you the best with this new channel, I've alwayhs thought that smash players should do content creation but almost no one does it consistenly, you could def do it!!
Incredible run, you inspired me to pick up Peach, and I'm having more fun with Smash Ultimate than I ever have had since release! I'm inredibly proud and staying up till 3AM for Genesis was WORTH!
Mute you are so sick. I’ve been playing peach for about 4 months and she’s really good. I’m practicing jcff, trying to learn to move around with it. I notice you don’t even dash with peach you move around the whole time with floats jumps and jcff it’s amazing!!!
I've gotta master this Ultra-Instinct defensive style of Peach - I still mainly play aggressive and rely on my corner pressure, my opponent shielding (so I can mix up being dair, empty land dtilt, and cross-up JCFF nair) or rolling (if they roll in, I'm at center stage and in position to punish, and if they roll away, I pull Turnip) in scramble situations. I think my best form of defense is calling out aerial approaches with uair and dancing around with JCFF stuff (especially around platforms - I'll just touch the platform for like a millisecond and then immediately jump or JCFF off if I can). I probably JCFF airdodge too much, but it's funny doing Fox things as a character that's supposed to be floaty af. I flicker shield a lot, but try to avoid actually committing to shield like 90% of the time because I'm a coward lmao.
