How I Bleach My Roots and Change Hair Color l ion Permanent Brights Radiant Orchid l Marylin Morales 

Finally someone with dark hair and using not harsh products I’m so glad I found your video, your hair looks beautiful love the color.

I've been watching a lot of videos in order to lighten and dye my hair so this one hair stylist said that you should apply lightener first on the end and medium part because the roots absorb the product. So then you wait 15 mins to apply on the roots (that way you won't get the yellow-ish color). I hope this helps someone out there .

Aww, nice color gradient on the accidental ombré. 💜💜💜🍇🍇🍇 If you want a softer color lift (I did this for textured, coarser and fine curly hair), try two parts 20 develepor with one part lightener, Ion scalp protector and any hair oil of your choice prior to product application, and some more hair oil and scalp protector in the lightener mix itself. Doing this preserves the integrity of your scalp and hair. You can either use a hair whisk to thoroughly blend the lightening mixture, or use a non-reactive spoon or other beauty tool to carefully stir in the contents and let the product rest for a few minutes prior to application. I find that it works better at lightening and softening, and there's less product wasted as a result. Leave lightener mix on for 35 minutes, or until you have lightened the hair to your liking. Remember, if you are a brunette, you can achieve a beautiful copper brown color just with lightener. And if you are naturally blonde (or blondish), you can get blonder with this product alone. Also, I recommend that you wait at least 5 days to permanently tint your hair after lightening it if your hair and scalp are sensitive (particularly natural textured hair). You are processing your hair after all. This gives your hair a chance to repair itself and breathe. I know that some folks cannot wait this long. Perhaps you can use a toner, semi-permanent, or demi-permanent if you are too impatient to wait it out. This way you get instant color without reprocessing so much. It's important to give our hair TLC. 😍

I just did mine literally tonight the magenta color and it did not turn out as bright. Now I’m loving this color better! So tomorrow I’m going to get this!!! So pretty!!! 💜

Ion radiant orchid has been my only color, I just love the products. I never bleached my hair first, comes out better than I expected. Then on my grays it comes out way better. Had something like a Mohawk, letting it grow out ( looks like a BAD mullet now ) . I’ve been doing just the longer hair kinda ombré. So far so good.

This color came out almost fuchsia for me. I chose it because on you it appeared to be the purple i wanted. I used 40 developer and i was bleached pretty light. I probably should have used the darker purple they have.

I love your results!!! I have seen others use the ion colors, not apply it correctly and then blame the product. Your video showed that it's how you prepare your hair and apply it properly that make a huge difference. Side note: Love your eyebrows!

When I was at sally they said they didnt have purple hair dyes? Thus y I'm not going there to keep purple hair or any color for that matter no more, because they dont keep there stuff in stock enough for hair color u want to stick with there. Waist of money to me and time 🤷‍♀️. When I could have just used ferria v48 medium intense violet vixen instead which is what I ended up doing and I'm very very happy that I did that.The color looks very beautiful on u . My hair was blonde medium intense red in ion from sallys before I did the ferria color. So good luck keeping that color though looks beautiful!🤷‍♀️💜🦄

You’re hair color is amazing! I have to admit I get so nervous watching people bleach their hair, though you seem to be experienced at it. The one good thing about being old is my hair has mostly turned gray, so bleaching is no longer necessary for me to be able use fashion color dyes

I bought this hair color today because I had bleached my hair the other day and I had bought an arctic fox one but it was like a pastel purple and it literally did nothing to my hair so I’m gonna try this one I just wasn’t sure the ratio for the cream developer mixed in with the dye so i came on RU-vid to look for videos and I came across yours and I’m glad that I did I really hope that my hair catches the color because for some reason I think it’s just my hair is stubborn

Ik most say dont use purple dye on red hair however but , I think it's actually a better result versus on bleach blonde hair personally 🤷‍♀️😂, ik that probably makes hair dressers mad but I'm obviously braver than them too so u keep doing u I love the color on u its amazingly beautiful and gorgeous on u and not horrifying on u at all!

I do the same on my hair but i don't use bleach because when you do it in natural hair it become any color even if you don't bleach it. my color is dark brown too.

I out it on virgin hair. I have fine Brazilian brown hair ,(I didn't realize I'm that dark but a stylist showed me), but I've done it for years and it is an orchid bright glow through the. Brown. I love that on pre bleached though. You look beautiful!

4 next time ones ur color washes off u can just buy the ready to use dye its so much better and easier to use...for ion brilliance no developer needed for ready to use...on washed off hair color it sticks to it like if u bleached it...i see here u had to bleach it but for washed off color. Also 4 best results on the bleach needs to be a lil more liquidity and u can put shampoo or conditioner to help ur hair not b dry just incase u cant go to the store to buy the little bottles...the liquidity on it helps u adhere faster to ur hair....its a pretty color ive had it b4...looks so Nice on u p.s ur dog sounds like mine lol
