Nice job. I like the look of the exposed dominoes. I assemble my drawers similarly with my dowelmax when I want to use a contrasting wood for the dowels. It adds a nice pop of color.
Thank you for showing your workflow! Your drawers should be very durable. Do you use 1/2 plywood for the drawer bottom, and is your plywood slightly under 1/2"?
Thanks for the feedback. I’m always trying to work more efficiently. The issues I had with dominoing a but joint is keeping it aligned and preventing slipping. What I currently do is my current best method. 1h 15m from raw plywood to installed drawer using one piece flow. If you’ve got advice on how to do it better/faster I’m truly all ears
I agree just do the thru domino on a butt joint. I’ve seen other videos of them being made without slippage. I’ve seen enough of your videos to know you can figure something out.
@@DaileyWoodworks an hour and 15 min for a plywood drawer box? I do solid maple 5/8 dovetailed in about 30 min per box from rough sawn 4/4. not sure what you're doing differently I can do plywood in about 15 min per box
