Bro literally. I have watched so many of these videos and it's always the same info. They never actually tell us HOW to begin. Who do we approach or what sites do we go on to start?
I thought the same thing, so I put all the step-by-step tutorial on my channel 100% for free. No paid courses, no email sign ups. I hope you find value in them!
Thank you so much saying this! That's my goal with this channel (all the videos here on youtube are completely free and include the content that you'd typically have to pay for in a course). I hate when you get teased and then have to pay for an expensive course to get the real information. You won't find that here :)
Hey Kelly! Thanks so much for the comment! I'm glad to hear you enjoy the content on the channel! You are very welcome :) If you have any questions feel free to let me know!
Sorry to burst your bubble but He still advertised his course on “Udemy“ , a good salesman knows how to sell himself by making himself relatable, sharing basic knowledge in a fancy way which slowly programs your brain into feeling like you need more of his knowledge (but you gotta pay). Lmaooo
I wanted to come back to this video a couple years later and say a huge THANK YOU, Greg! After watching this I started my own print on demand business that really took off and now I even have my own RU-vid channel to help others on their POD journey. Watching this video late one night was literally a pivotal moment in my life that I'm so grateful for. Can't say thanks enough!
Hannah, thank you so much for taking the time to come back and write this. It's people like you, writing things like this, that make me keep doing this. With that said, congratulations on the POD business and the channel!!!
Haven’t yet watched the full video, but thank you for your testimonial! I’ve already had this POD thing at the back of my mind aside from regular dropshipping, and I’m hoping to give it a shot so I can add in my creative flair/etc. This gives me hope 🙏
Austin Dyer no ones said being self employed is easy but we’re expected to get a normal 9-5 because it’s stable when in reality your leaving your income in the hands of others. Yes the same is true when self employed but to an extent, you have to work hard but at least the result is rewarding and your not leaving it to chance as so many suggest otherwise
I was happy to see you clarify, at the end, about only focusing on one at a time. So many will try to do it all at once, burn out and then tell everyone it can't work. T Harv Eker taught this principle; as well.
@@GregGottfried yeah, I noticed that you don't get into illustrator and other design programs but do this all on your phone. I have illustrator and have been designing stuff for years personally and for church stuff but was looking at how to actually start using my skills to make money. I was looking at printful but it's kind of clunky in how they have thing setup. Searching for info on printful, I found your channel and I'm am thankful that I did. Will be starting my big 3 business this weekend. Thx again 💯
Right on! Illustrator is far more powerful that Typorama or Wordswag on the phone. I've been using Placeit as my primary designer and mockup tool for a while now and I'm completely sold on it. If you have any interest in potential other design tools I definitely recommend checking it out (here's a video with some more info on it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_iQnOSbMtc8.html ) Also, great call on avoiding Printful in the beginning. It could be helpful down the road but the big 3 are the best starting out, good call!
lol not 100%.. I don't use my degree per say, but I did pick up a ton of really helpful things along the way. It was worth it 100% in my opinion. Although I can only speak for my experience, I can imagine that you would be able to say the same thing. With that said, it's definitely overpriced if we strictly look at cost of knowledge (RU-vid and Udemy provide far better education for cost).
I’ve been looking up different streams of incomes for the past month, this is by far my best video I’ve ran into. From drop shipping to blogging to this.
Greg Gottfried, this is impressive. I honestly kept avoiding your presentation at first because I thought it was another generic buy something from me pitch. You're amazing! I plan to start working on seven income streams. One at a time. :)
Starting the grind, I'm 28 years old. Struggling to hold a job because I get mind numbingly bored way too fast. I hope that I can find some type of drive to keep focused on all of this. Thank you a ton for the free course. Literally the best thing ive seen anyone do for people.
"Jumping over without having a raft." I can relate to that so much. I remember at the turn of the century when the internet was so new, I became a victim of the "internet bubble," when new businesses jumped on the internet and much of the internet businesses lost money. I worked as a restaurant manager in 1999 and I had a friend who made really good money on Yahoo auctions. He made over $1000 per week just selling used computers and drop shipping them directly from his distributor. I finally made the bold move to quit my management job and help sell computers. But when I quit, Yahoo changed their Terms of Services, his distributor changed their programs as well, computers were harder to get a hold of and I was without money. Luckily I got a job in a hospital pharmacy two months later (which I currently work). It was a very painful two months out of work, even trying to post hard-to-get computers not selling. Another word of warning. If anyone wants to go into business with a friend, be very cautious. This friend I went into business with had a completely different business philosophy than I had. My philosophy was to take part of the money that we received from the online auctions and invest and develop the business. His philosophy was to take all of the money and live off of it without investing or developing. Needless to say, we parted ways a long time ago.
Thanks for the comment and sharing that Alan! That's a crazy turn of events! I can absolutely agree, it can be hard to go into business with a friend because business is business and personal life should be personal life.
I am 16 and I have a plan to hopefully be ready by 18, already stuck at a dead end job, but this helps. Now let’s see how this fairs with my procrastination.
Everyone here are all older then 18 but I’m only 12 and I want to help my dad and mum with money so I’m probably ganna start an Etsy shop idk something to earn money to give to my parents ☺️😂❤️
that's awesome! You're so mature and considerate to want to help your parents though you're only 12. If i ever have kids next time i hope they'll be as thoughtful as you🙂 I think your parents would be proud enough if you just study hard and try your best at school, cuz running an Etsy shop can be time-consuming and hard too. But if you do try it out like as a side hobby or sth, all the best ❤️
Unfortunately there are groups that go around RU-vid disliking any and all vids they click on for a game. It's a well known fact, and I think RU-vid should do away with the thumbs down. Who cares. You can tell by the views and the thumbs up whether it's worth watching or not.
I've actually never heard of print on demand as an income stream, only youtube channel and affiliate marketing. Thank you for the advice dude. You earned these views.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for the comment too! I hate when the video goes on and on to finish with a course to buy... you won’t see that here that’s for sure!
When he talked about how he lost his job overnight, it made me realise that not everyone is lucky enough to be able to just find another job so easily (let alone 7) and waking up not being able to feed yourself or your family is such a sad reality for so many people. Honestly we have so much to be grateful for.
I got 1 million dollars in 2 years and I did close to nothing. All I did was manage 5 Instagram accounts, put out scheduled memes until the end of 2021 and basically just advertise for others whenever they wanted. I would earn around 1000$ daily from it and worked so little! The fact that no one knows about this gem and many more gems is frustrating, as I see tons of people working in office rat or wage cuck jobs every day when they can become millionaires by doing close to nothing, but at the same time, we need those bluepilled work rats to keep society going. Yadda yadda!
yup, covid got me fired and I just started working, like 2 months so I don't have any savings and I'm the breadwinner of the family. So thank you for this I hope this works out for me
@@GregGottfried thank you greg for this video, more than i can express. just so i can have a little more realistic perspective, would you share an example or two of what the hard work would be specifically regarding teespring?
You are absolutely correct. Rely on one job's income can be very dangerous. Company will not give you chance no matter people have worked for 10, 20 years with good performance once they need to 're-organize' the working team, or due to some office political issues, people will get fired with no mercy, no matter how much contributions he/she made to the company in the past 10 - 20 years. So, start to build 7 passive incomes is vital. Many thanks for your advice.
I'm 21, lost my job overnight and had the same realisation that traditional jobs aren't as stable as most people say and started to look for ways to diversify my income. Glad to know that I'm glad to know I on the right path.
Hey Chuck, Great point. It used to be difficult to create designs, but now there are t-shirt design templates you can use. I can create and upload about 50 per day now. Here's more on how to use them in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DvWFwKSEByw.html
@@christopherowens477 I'm glad to know that. Just do it man. Life is too short to let negativity ruin your mindset. About a week ago I was afraid of creating this youtube channel thinking that my friends would judge at me or laugh at me. But I ignored my assumptions, my fear and here I am, doing what I've been dreaming for quite sometime. I have to tell you that it feels better. Stay Positive my friend, you deserve it. ❤️
The advice is straightforward and honest. There is no promise of overnight success, flamboyant lifestyle ect. I find the video to be instructive and helpful. There is nothing to lose at the end of the day other than not taking his advice, and not trying for yourself. Good job.
Hi! Thanks for the comment! Yes, thats my goal with this channel, to genuinely help people and provide them with all the information completely free :) I'm glad you liked the video, you're very welcome! Let me know how it goes!
I quit my "safe-job" 6 months ago, try to find some ideas to do business, working on it for 3 months and have no result, I have to find another job again. I have to admit that finding a new job in this quarantine time is hard. I've applied for over 50 companies for the past 3 months, work in 2 companies that are sucks and have to quit these jobs by myself. After all of this, I realized that we have to have more than 1 income no matter what. Because there's no safe in a 9-5 job 🤷♀️ we can be replaced easily after all 🥶 Thanks for your helpful sharing. I found myself in your story ❤
The title of this video is soo similar too all those internet adds that say "NO NEED TO WORK, MAKE SO-AND-SO MONEY FROM HOME" That I felt a hesitance to click it.. but once I opened it, I immediately felt like I can trust this guy. But just because of mere habit and caution I'm still feeling queasy..
lol I know the feeling! Too many scams out there nowadays.. I only made this youtube channel to share helpful info, not sell expensive courses.. I hope the info you find here is truly helpful, and I'm always here to help along the way if you need it!
@@GregGottfried thaks a lott man! The world needs more people like you. I just had a one question, my little brother makes a lot of digital illustrations and drawings of popular superheroes (like these are original works, not scenes from movies or comics or pictures that already exist, but those characters different and unique styles and all) So can we use those or will we run into copyright issues?
"Fired for no reason at all." I know of a person who worked at an insurance company for 35 years and was close to retirement. The company was bought out and downsized its staff. She was fired and cheated out of her retirement.
This happens ALL the time. I know someone who was laid off by a company after 15 years because the company was bought out by a bigger company. She then got a job at the bigger company, but in a different division, they laid her off after 15 years - NO retirement at either company.
Hearing you say your past income, to your current was such motivation to hear! Very proud of where you are in your life now, and thankful that you’re one of the few to actually take time and give back. I’m 18 with my first real job, and the way you just explained your situation was very humbling. Keep up the good work!
Thank you! It sounds like you're in the ideal time to start these things. If all goes to plan, you'll be able to effectively retire by your early 20's! If you go full force on these, keep me posted on your success in the future because I'd love to hear about it!
@@GregGottfried Hoping for the best, tomorrow isn’t promised but I’m working towards my goals! Probably going to start learning about affiliate marketing also, I’m currently taking my real estate pre licensing course.
The raft and ship analogy was amazing and needs to be promoted to these TikTok cats that are thinking they can quite their job and become wealthy off of their streams and writing their Venmo on their car.
Glad to hear it, thanks for the comment Abby. I agree, these aren't talked about too frequently, but they work great once you get them rolling. If you have any questions as you're going forward just give me a shout!
Here you go :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SmWPAvywW28.html I hope that helps! Tons of videos on my channel too. Check out the Teespring playlist.
@Cross Fys Lucky you then. I live in Mongolia - one of the lowest paying countries in Asia - and I get $1.11 per hour and this is the average wage here. Of my pay I get deducted 22% for taxes (one for retirement, the other is mandatory) Even then, I still save 50% of my income every month. For food, as of this month I spent $9 bcs my work provides meals while I'm on shift. As for the internet/accomodation, I rent a super small room for $31.4 per month including the internet (the only furniture I possess is a table which I use it as a kitchen counter and 3/4 of the room space is filled completely when I lay a mat to sleep - that small). As for laptops and smart phones, I recently bought a refurbished LG G6 for $43 and my laptop is super old i3 Dell Vostro 2421 that my Mom bargained like 8, 9 years ago. Like dude I wanna buy maple syrup but imported products are so expensive here that it's $9 😾 can't afford it. Soo..... Not everyone's blessed with great living and working conditions like you but I don't think I'm living a miserable life. 💁
I like how these 7 Streams of income aren't about him boasting about have 7 businesses like other youtubers and then begin to say he's gonna spill the beans on how to do it. THEN they don't actually spill you the beans and make you wanna pay $15 to get the info when they said they will give you the info FREE or IN A FEW SECONDS.
Thank you so much for appreciating that.. That's my goal with this channel (to give the real info away for free in RU-vid videos, not in a paid course). Thank you!
This part at the end caught my attention "I recommend you put your efforts into one thing until it's growing then you move onto the next", thanks Greg your awesome.
Thanks for catching that! That is what worked for me and I feel good that it could work for others! Thanks for watching & I wish you nothing but success! 👍🏼
@@GregGottfried Thanks too I have been trying to choke things up and end up realizing that it's slow, but now I got a new tool in my toolbox which is "one at a time", Thanks

This is probably the first video that was straight forward. These all seem like reliable good sources. No BS, just straight up “try this out” energy. Thanks sir.
I am 19, still studying and starting to getting financially independent. Started watching related videos a while ago. This video is THE BEST! Straight to the point but also having all the necessary details. I'm definitely going to try these. Thank you.

Thanks for this video! I have been thinking of building passive income streams for a while. You have explained all the income streams in a simplified manner and it has helped me a lot. Keep up the good work!
I've just had to quit my job because of mental health. Currently have no way of earning income. Your video just popped up in my recommended.. Thank you for this information and advise. :)
I hate the scammy stuff out there.. Too much of it nowadays. My goal with this channel is to make all the videos packed with information and completely free (and include the content that you'd typically have to pay for in a course). I hate when you get teased and then have to pay for an expensive course to get the real information. You won't find that here :)
Thanks for asking! This will help put it into perspective: It's average about $1/per active listing/per month (and that goes for Teespring, Merch by Amazon, and RedBubble). Hope that makes sense, for example 100 shirts on each site is about $300/mo total (or $100/mo from each site). Every time I make a sale, I get between $2-$10 depending on how big the margin is set on that product. The $1 I'm talking about it to give you a best average on my entire accounts earnings per month. You may have 100 designs live, but only make 20 sales that month. Not every design will sell every month. So if we are averaging between $2-10 per sale (and we got 20 per month) that averages $100 profit that month. With 100 designs, that comes out to about $1 per active design on the account. I hope that helps!
Nice, but is it as easy as you describe it here? What about SEO for example? After all, like you, there are tens of thousands of other sellers. It's not that you upload a product and directly buy it. You have to stand out, and you did not explain that here. You present it as too easy, and it is not
Hey thanks for asking about this. You're absolutely right, it's not easy and guaranteed (which would be awesome, but not realistic). In short, there are a couple extra things I do that help give you an advantage over the vast majority of other sellers. First is seeing if the niche or topic is over-saturated already, second is using a certain website for t-shirt design templates, and third is using some social media marketing in the beginning to get a good start on the print on demand sites. This video is my take on a full tutorial that goes through my whole process, including these 3 extra steps: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DvWFwKSEByw.html I hope that helps and if you have any questions just let me know, I try to be here in the comments daily to help.
I lost my job at 51 last year. After 18 years of service, the company closed down. I'm looking to diversify and not have all my eggs in one basket. Thanks.
Thanks for the comment. Hopefully these videos can help lead you down the path I went down, and in the end, end up on a better path overall than with the previous job. I'm here in the comments almost everyday, so if you run into any questions just give me a shout.
