Couldn't believe my eyes when you liked my scratch built Thunderbird 4 on Facebook the other day ! As This is the video i look up for inspiration and a go to guide the whole build ! Insane man means alot
Sir, I am in absolute awe of your model building skills, especially your TB2 which has always been my fave from the show. Please, if you ever decide to do kits, let me know. Respect 🤘
Absolutely fantastic. Well done. As a kid - back in the 1960s - I had a TB4 model which was about 10" long. Unwisely I think it came in the bath with me!! Long since gone unfortunately ...
Absolutely magnificent. I love this design. Across the episodes TB4 went through numerous changes in its appearance... did any of the other models look the same? But this captures the look and feel of the craft perfectly. I am in awe. Beautiful work.
Thanks, I studied screen shots from the series to get it as near as possible to the large studio scale model, smaller models never had as much detail, as in all the models used, decals could even be a different scale etc
@@Thunderbirds-models Well I don’t have Facebook, but I’ve got Twitter though. A few days ago, I did some repairs on my little model of Thunderbird 4 where I not only crafted a new jet, but I ended up adding a new window on the cabin roof, and weathered the model a bit; so my Thunderbird 4 looks a lot better now 😄
Thank You for posting this. Gives me flashes back to the old T.V show I watched. This size would make a great R.C diving submarine model. Where did you get this? If you made it, plan on making more? A 3D file version would be Great. Let me know. Thanks again, George
Thanks, its an old garage kit, the guy that produced them made 10 about 2 years ago, now sold the molds to a company now producing them again albeit at a much higher price at £450..ouch! Of course then you have to build it...more £'s great model though. Here's the link if your interested, abovebeyondretail.co.uk/thunderbird-4-31-limited-release-model-kit/
@@Thunderbirds-models Thanks for the reply. Checked the site and your right, ouch the price is high. Would you consider making a copy of yours? In piece form as a kt?
No, its an R71, a very limited edition bike by QB carbon, built in conjunction with a 2 year Yamaha warranty back in 1999, only around 20 made. Here's more information for you. www.worldofqbcarbon.com/store/projects/yamaha_r71/info_12.html
