I know a lot of time, love, and care went into that car. Been watching it on your channel for a long time but don’t look so down. The Green Dragon is going to launch 🚀 you to the next level of your career. Now it’s on to your next legacy, maybe the Grand Dragon 🤔 #enterthedragon
@@hondaresource I know a lot of people would hate Dan for this question but could you tell me how much the car sold for I'm kind of interested in buying one done already.... Beautiful beautiful car by the way! 🙏 Much respect and Good Karma! 👍👍
I just inherited a 94 coupe with 24,000 original miles. Doesn't have an ounce of rust on the thing. Gonna be hilarious when I pull up to my families house in our late aunts Honda Civic running a set up similar to this.
for the people that didnt watch the whole video its a 92 civic hatch and he bought it as a shell he then put a b18 in it and made 700 wheel he got an awd setup from a local pull a part then he put a k series in it and added mods to make it a 9 second car
Stumbled upon your channel ! Love that hatch you had built!! I’m building one as well. So this video helped me with more info. Thanks. Legit reason for selling by the way. BUT.......!!!! You gotta build ANOTHER one ! Once you got the time and money.
Yeah, understand that whole budget thing. Been into this Honda game something like 25 yrs. And the Honda builds that I built over the years I enjoyed and loved more than the money Pitt ones were the Low budget or just budget builds. I think the guilt of spending Too much supersedes ALL else.
Awesome video with many details. I can't imagine the time and work you put into the green dragon. I myself wanted to build something like this one day. Love the video but hate that you had to part with it (Breaks my heart).
Much respect to you my brother, in the video you said that your not sure about the rear axles, if you had to change them, what rear axles would you get?
Not really much support for cr-v axles at the moment. Insane is currently the only company making "stronger" axles. I have several friends that have had bad luck with insane in fwd configuration.
@@hondaresource hope everything works out well for you man. I’ll be ready to see your next build and looking forward on more advices on K awd build setups👍🏼
@@hondaresource yeah that’s what I meant sorry. I’m doing the same and can do all the work myself. This is a very similar setup I am going for so I was curious.
Which fenders do you have? I'm looking to make a widebody hatch but I don't like any of the "bolt on" looking kits out there, I want it to look seamless with the rest of the car. I'll likely have to fab up my own rear panels, but having some wider fronts could help save some time!
I had problems with my 2001 Honda CRV. A few months ago. Gave all kinds of codes. Went to Honda dealership and they told me 2800 to change out the tranny for one from a salvage yard to be warrantees for 90 days. dafuq? sooooo, I scrutinized the system. And I came up with a fix and a fact. fact: automatic transmissions are designed and engineered to perform even as their parts degrade and fail. fix: drain 1 quart of old tranny fluid, add 8-16 oz laquer thinner to tranny fluid reservoir,...start, warm up, shift thru ALL gears multiple times. set drain pan, drain all contents of tranny reservoir. replace drain plug. refill with new. repeat 3x. trust me. please dear lord trust me. after you have checked all solenoids n stuff 9x over, run some laquer thinner thru it.
the man knows where he has to spend for quality in the long run! pay peanuts, get monkey! end up have to buy twice and pay alot more. many of the cheapos are very rich, they end up like this usually.
@@hondaresource thanks for replying. I've been out of the honda scene for about 3-4 year. Had a black gsr with jdm front. Just got tired of the childish behavior and the thieves. Once my first daughter was born I sold it and got a lexus gs300. You vids have been helping me with other peoples car. Thanks
@@jdmDC2ftw thankfully here in Alabama the thieves aren't terrible. But yeah I feel ya man. I'm 35 and definitely see where you're coming from talking about the childish behavior.
