3 months with me and everything has been going great! I thought I should share what I have done to keep Kaiju my baby Leachie healthy. enjoy! Music: Good time 02 URL: InShot
this is a great video! I haven't seen many other keepers do this with little ones. I definitely agree that baby arboreal geckos should be given a taller tank with climbing opportunities. it's also much more rewarding to be able to see your baby with the clarity of glass.
Thank you! And exactly, I'm happy that I put him in the tank. Now I see him all the time playing sticker on the glass lol Next Friday I will actually be uploading the next video of him. He's final set up is on the works now 😁
This was such a wholesome video man you can tell you care about your animal so much it’s refreshing! My leachie is coming in 2 days and even though I’ve done a ton of research I’m still scouring the internet for every bit of info I can. You got my subscription!
Thank you Ryan!! I definitely love my animals and always try to do the best for them. I have a few more videos on the Leachie playlist just in case you're interested. And thank you for your subscription!
Thank you for sharing your experience. I brought a R. leachianus home this week, and have set them up in a vertical bin made originally for pet food storage. I was concerned about the same thing you mentioned, wanting to give more climbing opportunities. I have a round cork bark piece and a similar suction cup terrarium leafy plant and that is also a popular hiding spot. I do wish I could see better so I can understand wanting the glass terrarium. I'm considering what material would be good to put on one wall of the tank (probably on the outside) to block the light for a more hidden, secure feeling.
No problem 😊 If I ever get another baby leachie I plan to just go with the tank right away. And I normally just put a background on the back, like the ones for aquariums
