Thanks so much for watching everyone! I hope you enjoyed seeing the video! I get asked A LOT when these babies will be available for sale (thanks for your support, a lot of you want a Pingu Lilly!) so I'll respond here! I will likely hold back most of my crested geckos until they weigh around 15-20 grams and are all sexed. For the leachies, I've already started selling them as babies/young juveniles as long as they have been eating well for several months. If you are interested in any animals, you can message me at reptiliatus.business@gmail.com. Thank you!
I breed cresties and just done my first year! Also have 3 gals only 2 have bred though! I have an extreme harlequin, yellow flame and a Lilly white! My male I have is a red and cream pinstripe harlequin!! And I’ve had 5 clutches in between the girls! Hoping next years season will be better! And hopefully my lilly will be big enough to breed!!
Would be nice to see the parents, too. Would be even nicer if you interviewed the parents and asked them embarrassing questions like "Which of your kids is your favorite?"
I also would love to breed my male crestie one day, he has an incredible personality just like his parents (according to his breeder). He’s also growing into an absolutely gorgeous Dalmatian with big inky spots. His name is Hubert I think I’ll get him a girlfriend one day, not for profit because I love cresties so much, I want to experience it.
Gorgeous babies! I'd absolutely LOVE A LEACHIE!!! I'm breeding my leopard geckos. Stunning hatchlings! I just started breeding geckos this year. Although I've kept them for 20 years. Reptiles are my passion. I also work at a pet store. So I get to breed healthy beautiful Gecko's and then educate customers and find my babies great homes. I always raise my babies up to a good healthy weight and size b4 they find their homes. I also keep in touch with the people who purchase my Gecko's 😉
Lemme have those leachies!!!! I must have a leachie! I may also need an enclosure….😳 for real all of these animals are adorable and are so well cared for!! So healthy! Not ready to breed yet unfortunately I have enough money for that yet!!
I'm not trying to breed anything BUT my one remaining Hawaiian mourning gecko stealthily laid a few eggs and one hatched last week! Parthenogenic species are so cool. One gecko suddenly became two and there's another egg!
This was my first year breeding ball pythons. Had a surprise clutch of piebalds. I am now getting into crested geckos, and in the future, kenyan sand boas.
All the babies are so pretty. Nice bunch of Cresties. But OMG the eyelashes on the Lily White, are so freaking adorable. Congrats on a successful breeding season! Have a blast on your trip, you 4 weirdos 😂😂😂😂💜💜💜💜
i bought a poor baby bearded dragon being sold as a juvenile from petsmart today with a dead one in his extremely small tank and being fed pellets i gave him a nice tank and the proper lighting hopefully i can get him healthy but he’s already been introduced to greens which is an extremely good start he’s a really beautiful red morph it’s difficult to see something being mistreated but also benefiting the company
I started off with 1 crestie 6 years ago and got a 2nd 3 yrs ago I got another in November of 2022 (all 3 are male) I got a female in Dec 2022 for breeding and I also got a baby in Dec (baby is a female) and since then I ended up with 9 adults 2 juveniles and 5 hatchlings of my own! I also currently have 9 eggs incubating and the male I got in November was a rescue from an uneducated family who fed him only APPLESAUCE and he past away from MBD. I have had a good season so far!
I love these little guys, it amazes me how they just walk around and act like they’ve been around you forever. They are all so beautiful . Thank you so much for this for sharing.❤️😍👍🏻👵🏻🇺🇸 I wish that I had known about you and these beautiful creatures when I was younger I would have loved to have one. ❤️👍🏻👏🏼
I would honestly love to breed my crested gecko Spyro with a female crested gecko that I hope to one day own at some point in time. Baby crested geckos are so adorable! ❤
I have a pair of leopard geckos that I’m planning on breeding this next season and to grow up my crested grows to breed them also. Great video and love seeing your baby geckos!
I've been thinking of maybe someday breeding leopard geckos, but first I have to get a leopard gecko and figure out if I actually like keeping them, lol. Also, not a reptile, but I've considered breeding degus. They're a smaller cousin of chinchillas and I was thinking I'd like to breed for handleability/affectionate temperament with humans, since that's definitely something you can selectively breed in mammals and it'd get me a bunch of breeder animals that are super fun to interact with. Meanwhile, my biggest breeding accomplishment this year was myself - I gave birth to my first child this year!
Congratulations Dayyan! Beautiful babies, well done! Very glad 2021 brought us new success with Anolis segrei and Anolis extremus :) Chat soon about your beautiful leachies ;)
Aww, new babies are a blessing, I suppose all women understand that better then men, (cept me, never had kids of my own) they’re just beautiful Dayyan 🥰 Great job Pingu and Nona! I’d give a leachi the best home, if only I could afford one lol Message of the day-Breed responsibly people!
I don’t have reptiles for breeding, and I only have a couple pets. So my dream reptile breeding would probably be tokays, but maybe wild-type color with focus on temperament and handling. Or cresties, because they are so cute!
We bred our Green Anoles, two clutches for 3 babies. We acquired a pair of three year old Australian Water Dragons that we hope to breed in the future 🤞
I'm not having a good year with breeding so I'm really jealous of your success with your cresties this year. I have 2 females that I bred for the first time and only 3 babies (out of 20 or so eggs) have successfully hatched. I'm not sure what is going wrong but most of the eggs go bad just like a week before the earliest they could have hatched. I know that some of the eggs were infertile but for the others I check the temperature and humidity of my egg box constantly and they're always both within good parameters so it just really sucks that they don't make it all the way :( As for dream species I'd like to breed, Red eyed croc skinks are at the top as well as Abronia graminea. Sudan plated lizards are also a species I think is underrated and would love to try breeding to get more captive bred animals into the trade. I'm also just kinda obsessed with geckos in general so would love to breed so many species like gargoyle geckos (which I have bred in the past), chameleon geckos, leaf tail geckos, crocodile geckos, african fat tails, flying geckos, leachies, chewies, etc, etc
I got my first crested gecko this year I think it is a boy his birthday is 23.12. I m so excited to see him grow bigger. If I could breed any animal it would be an Argentine tegu
It seems that the Lilly white gene somewhat suppresses the Dalmatian gene. Even when bred with super dals they have significantly reduced spotting, though I do know several breeders working to create heavily spotted Lilly whites. As far as the question of the day, I have been able to produce Phelsuma Klemmeri and Pachydactylus Rugosus in addition to Crested Geckos!
Awesome babies! I know you have some phants too, do you by chance sell offspring from them? I have an adult female Fim who I’m hoping to breed next season but I love the phants. They’re definitely my dream breeding project!
Howdy, was hoping you could help me - my crestie is 5 months old now but just wont eat unless I hand feed it, and also wont eat live food unless i cut open the cricket so it can smell it... and even then its a slow process trying to force a bite reflex (mostly just licks it for a good 30sec and then looses interest...)
QOTD, bit of a sad year, I finally found a male tokay for my girl Mora, when she unexpectedly passed away. So now the hunt is on for a girlfriend for Milo!
I just got my first baby gecko to grow up for my future breeding plan. He (it isn't sexed yet, I just call it a he until he is old enough to sex) was 2.5g when I got him a month ago (October 2nd) and he weights right at 2.9-3.0g. Do you think that this is enough weight gain for a whole month? He doesn't really look skinny or anything, I just figured he might should have grow a little more. I tried looking up charts to see how much they should be growing, but it really seems to vary. Also, the breeder didn't give me a hatch date when I got him, if he weighed 2.5g when I got him, around what age do you think a 2.5g baby would be. I think the breeder said 2-3 months, but I can't remember and that seems a bit much to me. To answer your question about biggest breeding accomplishments this year is, I believe one of my 3 morning geckos that I have been raising up is gravid! I'm so excited because they are my first breeding project and I have had such a fun time raising these three so far. Dream breeding project would probably be leachies or dekays brown snakes, because when I was younger my little brother cought one and was trying to keep it in a pickle jar, but I set up a 10 gallon with a heat mat, thermostat and everything it needed. It did amazing for over a year and then started to go down hill and refuse meals quite quickly and ended up dying. I really regret not releasing it, but you can only learn from your mistakes. He was an incredible little snake, and I would love to be able to provide captive bred babies so that people can enjoy these amazing creatures without making the mistake I did.
I have a crested gecko the same size and have them in a big terrarium I don’t know if he’s eating most of the time and I’ve had him for six months and he’s not seem like he’s grown should i put him in a tubaware?
Who doesn't love the scale babies!!! You have some amazing looking little ones, well adjusted healthy offspring. I just started breeding tokays. Do you plan to breed your pair again? I would like to introduce a cb blue normal type into my project at some point. Right now most of my tokays are rescues and I don't wish to breed any of them...they have been through enough already. I do have one cb bonded pair (normal type grey more than blue) and one cb hatchling ( normal type blue) that will be in my project when they get a few years older. Thanks for an amazing video! Glad to see you are feeling better!
@@Reptiliatus OMG that's so exciting! Go Tiki, you da man! Great job Torch! Oh yes and of course...must thank the human...giggle. Honestly though I truly do thank you for the wonderful work you are doing with/for tokays! I will be waiting for that video. Excited to see your new additions! Perhaps there may be a Reptiliatus tokay in Coldblooded Compassions line somewhere in the future?
really would like to breed childrens, anthill, stimsons and spotted pythons in the future, i cant ever find any at expos and people should really have access to such great snakes
Not a breeder and right now I have no pets. I'd love to raise garter snakes and box turtles and release them into the wild. I used to volunteer in wildlife rehab and returning animals to the wild is such a thrill. I want a pink tongue really bad,or a gecko...Hard to decide.
Last Sundsy (april 3rd) I got a 5g Crested Gecko baby. They seem healthy, active, etc., just wondering how much they should be eating at this age? So far I've just given Pangea. How much should they get? I read to only feed them 5 days a week.. How many crickets/insects do you recommend? Slightly paranoid about doing things correctly. I've researched other sources but they dont give enough information, imo.
