Guys,some advice.try to soak your shoes in a liquid or powder detergent with water 2 hours or a day.that will loosen up all the dirt.just dissolve it thoroughly.with that,you will have a less time on scrubbing.trust me,you will love it.

So I cleaned my converse with Baking Soda and Detergent (any kind doesnt matter) and then I used a toothbrush bc I couldn’t find my other brushes 😂 sooo then I got done cleaning them and I took the shoe strings and put them in detergent and I soaked them in there and then kind of brushed out it with the toothbrush... then I just rinsed them and put them on a dry surface like an old shirt I don’t really use anymore and now I’m just letting them AIR DRY.... sooo I’ll update you guys tomorrow!!!😫😫❤️ Update: So I went to see them after air drying and they look BEAUTIFUL!!! THEY ARE SOO WHITE AND IMMMM OBSESSED OVER THEMM😫 the video is also very useful❤️ thank youuuu‼️

Nice!! When I was in Desert Storm my mother sent me a washboard and several bars of "Zote" soap, the motorpool mechanics would always come by to borrow these to wash their grease-stained DBDUs.....you using "Zote" brought back a lot of memories, thank you!!!

I like the cleaning method but it looked like the inside soles on each shoe was stringy and ripped on the heel. I wouldn’t want that to happen to mine!

Should’ve found this vid before I chucked my converse in the washing machine... they came out exactly the same with the stains still there so now I’m going to try this method and let’s hope it works

Well I'm glad someone said not to throw them in the dryer because I've never done this and my dry "conveniently" broke 😅. I live in the south so drying outside isn't a problem lol.

where i live is always raining so i can't put them out in the sun. is it possinle i can just keep them inside?

I just used this method with a few twists and my shoes went from looking like they haven't been washed in years to brand new also I didn't think this would work on mine cause they r the thick kind but it still worked really well

Don't use hot water or bleach. Also, I rescue old pairs of converse that people don't want anymore. That's if you outgrow them or they get too old and worn out, making them not wearable anymore. Eventually I'll start up my own hobby where I restore old pairs, I have no idea when though. But keep that in mind when you're about to give these up. I only rescue regular highs, lows and shoreline. Not platforms, seventies or extra slim fit

Don’t use hot water, it can weaken the glue on the shoes.

THIS WAS AMAZING! I LOVE THIS METHOD.

I used an old dishwasher tabs container with a lid and sliced up the zote bar and use it as needed in the washer so I don't have to cut it every time i use it. 😄 life hack

Ok idk what’s happening but I tried to wash my converse twice already but they keep turning yellow after washing😭 guess I’ll try this method now
