Just found your channel today. I just bought the 320 Ohuhu markers, and they arrived yesterday. I organized them yesterday. Started swatching today. Was looking for a video of someone using them and found you. 😊 Your coloring is absolutely stunning. That girl is just the cutest girl ever. Really enjoyed this video. Tfs Oh yeah, I was thinking the same thing about the purple. It wasn't enough. They could have switched out some of the greys. 😂
@@ColorfullyOptimistic I would love books like this I can never find books with pictures like this where I am .. they are nearly all mandalas and I hate them 😢xx
Hi Kori! Thanks for learning to blend with alcoholmarkers. I just started to color with them so good timing! I am “old” so it takes a while to learn this technique!🤪
Hey Kori, it’s been awhile since I left a comment. This is gorgeous Kori, have you ever done black hair with markers and if not would ever consider doing a tutorial on it? Thank you for sharing Kori!
Yes I have. I typically do them with either a blue or purple undertone just so they're more fun, but gray always works as well too. I'll add a tutorial to the list for those.
Beautiful page super excited for this video ❤ what printer do you have and what ink do you buy? Been looking for a printer gunna put it on my Christmas wish list ❤
No no. Copics are quite easy. The colors they have selected for Copics are really nice and well thought out. Also, I find the copic nib more predictable which helps with my blending.
I very much enjoyed this. I'm new to alcohol markers and look forward to learning more from you. I've done one page and really enjoyed it. In fact I've asked hubby to please get me the new 320 brush and chisel set for Christmas. I wish they were brush and bullet though. I don't see the link for the hammer mill paper but it could just be me. I would like to purchase it to use with the small set of markers that I currently own. I think I know which paper it is but would like to be sure. I have a small pack of Expressit blending card but don't want to use it until I've had more experience.
Here you go: amzn.to/3WOgwVn - just basically always go with the Hammermill one that has the reptile on it. It has to be the color copy cover. It is super smooth. I prefer the 80 pound, but they stopped making it. The 60 pound works just as well though, and it feels like XpressIt but not as expensive haha
Thanks for the “fixative” idea to deal with the runny ink. I thought that was an issue I was just going to have to deal with for the rest of my printing life. 😂
@@ColorfullyOptimistic Sorry that was kind of vague. id like to do a black skin tone with white gel pen markings but just using my black marker doesn’t work. I lose all detail. Would using the three markers you used on the shoes work better? Or still obscure everything?
@@ColorfullyOptimistic You are SO kind to respond! I have never watched someone color before, but i stumbled upon the video and just loved hearing about your techniques and thoughts on coloring. I really enjoyed it. Thanks so much for sharing.
