Hi Luisa, That’s a pretty one. Lol. Yes large pieces nice. Easy to see is a plus. But takes up more space. I hope you enjoy it. Nice to see you & thanks for sharing. 👍😊❤️
The Ravensburger 500 "large size" piece puzzles end up being about the size of a standard 1000 piece puzzle. I puzzle with 2 friends, and we like the bigger size because much easier to fit 3 people around a 500 piece puzzle with the larger size pieces so we don't get in each other's way. We recently did the Ravensburger 750 piece "Cuter Crafters" puzzle which has the same large size pieces which is one of my favorite puzzles of all time. I just finished Ravensburger 1000 piece "The Artist Shed" which is part of the Haven series and is a UK puzzle (Great image,, but I wasn't a huge fan of the puzzling experience due to so much detail). I am currently working on Ravensburger 1000 piece "Deer at Day and Night" which I purchased/shipped from Germany.
I have a cozy puzzles from Ravensburger in that format, too. My sister gave it to me on my birthday a few years ago, so now it's my "birthday puzzle," and I do it on my birthday ever year. I'm doing the Educa Life 24k piece puzzle. Many videos! I'm almost done!
Wow! 24k pieces. I'm not sure I could tackle such a big one. Where do you have space to put that one together? How nice to have a birthday puzzle. That is a great memory for you to have. Thanks for watching! Happy puzzling!
When you did the 1000 piece version, were the pieces as large? I really enjoyed the image as well. Just didn't like that it took up my entire table! LOL
What a beautiful image, but looked like relatively difficult image to complete. I am surprised that you don't do any shape sorting. When I get to the last few pieces (usually the hardest part of the image), I shape short the pieces. Thanks for another great video!
Hi, new subscriber here! A 62 year old fairly new to puzzling (since July) and really enjoying it. I just did my first large piece Ravensburger as well. The pieces are rather alarming at first! Haha! The image was nice though. It was called Dad's Shed, and had a lot of interesting details. I'm really enjoying your channel. Please keep up the good work. 😊
Personally, I really disliked the Ravensburger 500 piece Dad's Shed. It is so brown, and painting so details are all fuzzy on the pieces. I enjoyed "Rig Views" (500 piece version), "Dream Library", and "Scenic Overlook" so much more.
Hi there! Thanks for watching and commenting. I am so glad that you have found puzzling and are enjoying it. It's a great past time! I'll look for Dad's Shed. Sounds fun with all the details. Happy puzzling!
There's quite a few companies that produce large piece puzzles. The ones that come to mind are Gibsons, House of Puzzles, Eurographics and Otter House as well as Ravensburger. When I want a break from doing standard size piece puzzles I do the large piece ones. At the moment I am doing the Valladolid puzzle from Worlds.
Hola! I'm sure you are right about a lot of companies having large piece puzzles. I just haven't done very many of them, yet! I will have to take another look at the puzzle you are talking about from Worlds. Isn't it fun doing those that the fastest puzzlers have done? Are you a fasty?
@@LuisaPuzzles Oh heavens no. I don't speed my puzzles but I do time some of them, mostly 500 pieces. I like to enjoy my puzzles rather than whizz through them. For me doing a puzzle is a relaxing hobby not one where I feel I have to do it in double quick time and get stressed in the process. One great advantage of not going to puzzle competitions is that I can choose which puzzle I wish to do.
