Thanks Maggs! I followed your recipe and they were delicious - my 1st time cooking dried beans! I remembered to do your sweet happy dance when tasting them - I think that was the most important part! 😅
If you soak the beans overnight, it helps them cook faster, so you're going to save time and energy, and reduce your bills. If you add salt to the soaking water (in other words, make a brine), your beans will cook even faster; the salt helps break down their skins. My mum also said that soaking in water also helps draw out the gas in beans (and lentles) so you don't fart.
I/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper 3 small cloves... you can use 1 clove if you have big size cloves...cloves have a strong smell. So be careful not to use a lot. They may overpower the whole dish.
I really love your effort ...I really do.....but I think there was alot of unnecessary things done in it.....take for instance I had to wait a whooping 1 min and 37 seconds before what I came to view started....also it doesn't take much to do your things in a more organised manner.....I DON'T even know the amounts of various spices that you added....I''m I just supposed to approximate them from this video or what...... but then......your video quality was amazing and you are visually pleasing
Takes a lot of build up courage to get in front of cameras and do an tutorial of what you’re trying to explain I bet she can’t do that but to each its own
