Could you please help with these questions pls: Devise a test strategy for a newly launched e-commerce website that sells books. Write test cases for an app that uploads files from a remote machine to the cloud. Write a test case to validate an API for which the input is a URL to an HTML webpage. What testing approach would you adopt for a smartphone that turns off when the alarm rings? Write smoke tests for the given situation: There are three modules with a fundamental defect in one of the modules. Module 3 gets its input from Module 1 and 2. How would you identify and report defects?

Can you please clarify by default they conduct all rounds i.,e 4-5 even thou we dont perform well in 2nd or 3rd round or once we select 2nd round then move to 3rd round like tht

Usually the first telephonic / video call is the screening round, post which 4-5 rounds are conducted. However if your first 2 rounds out of 4 have gone pathetic and interviewers share this feedback with Hiring Manager(HM)/HR then you may get a disqualification notification from HR based on HM inputs. However usually they conduct all the 4-5 rounds post your first phone/video call screening round and a Hire / No Hire decision is made based on the de-brief meeting conducted post all interview rounds.

there is no specific question bank that is followed during Amazon's interview and it completely depends on the Interviewer. I can share a related question and it was : In share market, I can buy and sell 1 quantity of a given share. Come up with a solution where one can achieve maximum profit.

It depends on your college, past salary (if having work experience) and definitely your interview feedback.. might vary from 8-20 LPA

First round is Telephonic followed by 4-5 rounds of onsite /vc interviews

You can use all the 3 mediums to apply for job at Amazon. However, if you apply through Amazon Employee referral then you will have a better follow-up on the interview process and results. Amazon employee can let you know if your resume is being considered by HR for interview or not!

Post Telephonic round, you should ideally get an update in 3 days. And post on-site / zoom rounds where you have another 4-5 rounds, you should ideally get an update in 7 days (worst 10 days). If you do not hear back from the HR then do write an email seeking an update.

Hi Pagadala, Tosco automation tool seems to have a good future and its good to have your expertise on it. However I will suggest not to confine yourself to any specific tool rather. At Amazon, they usually promote in-house tools. Cracking Interview at Amazon will depend on your Technical expertise, testing skills and how best you would have utilised Tosco or any other tool in past for your Software testing needs.

hi sir, im doing software testing course and DataScience course also, I applied for this Quality service associate role at amazon and got shortlisted and I have interview tomorrow, As I mentioned I am doiing testing and Datascience course, if I got selected for this role at amazon should I go for this role or not? It completely depends on your wish and career aspirations. However Amazon provides you the flexibility to change roles provided to meet the expectations of the new role.

@@subhadeepguharoy2801 Its 7 working days. However lately it tends to take more time. You can check with Amazon HR post 7-10 working days on your interview status in case you don't hear back from them!

If you are able to clear interview means the Interviewers are sure that you will be able to perform. It's up to you to be on top of things, learn what you don't know and perform. There are trainings available to up skill you and can be attended post Manager's approval!

Written test is not always mandatory for quality assurance. However, based on the team you are getting interviewed for, there can be 1 round

It completely depends on the interviewer but you should be prepared with Array, Strings, Linked Lists, Queues, Stacks, Maps, Trees. At times the questions are also asked in Graphs but this is too rare for QAE.

@@snowfire4680 If your expectation is to get the exact CTC figures then let me tell you my Friend that even the hiring Amazon HR can not share exact figures with you. Like mentioned in the video it depends on your current package too. With 3.8 exp, you can expect between 20-30 LPA
