This technique is especially useful when you can't use colored pens on the surface itself and for projects where you want to add extra shine with gold foil. For example, I personally prefer the effect of gold foil over gold pens. I hope I answered your question correctly 🤔
Hi there! You can certainly gold foil onto different surfaces as well, such as paper, fabric. But I personally enjoy doing it best on the leather ☺️ I am curious how your projects will turn out ✨
Thank you for sharing this wonderful technique. I have Artistic Painting Studio foils, would they work? They look very similar to the deco foil, and I have so many colors. I will order the pen asap (thank you for the link)
Hello! I personally haven’t used the Artistic Painting Studio brand but by the description and look of the product when searched, it does look very similar to Deco Foil 🤔 If it is same as Deco Foil, it will not work with foil pen 🙁 I am curious what you find out once you get the foil pen!
You'll need to use Hot Foils with the foiling pens. So look for for foils that say Hot foil, I'm in Australia and use Courture Creations foils as they work great and value for money. There's a lot of different types of HOT foils on the market. I hope this helps 😊
