I love these and am on my fourth . My current one has changeable heads, so I use the smaller one on my fringe and the larger one elsewhere. I think I first started using one of these about 7 years ago. You’ve been luckier than me as I found they tend to die on me after about 18 months!

I had this brush and loved it but I found the bristles flattened quite quickly so my next purchase was the babyliss sheer volume ionic rotating brush which has no hot air but a heated barrel and different bristles. I absolutely love it. You use on almost dry (or completely) dry hair and it works just like the big hair brush making my frizz prone hair silky smooth and bouncy. I wouldn’t be without it. You have great hair btw!

I've got the babyliss one as well and it catches my hair sometimes but on the whole I love it as well. I wouldn't buy the revlon one because they're not a cruelty free company and I wouldn't line their pockets in any way xx

You are so pretty without makeup, I have the Revlon and the Hot tools, both do the same but neither one rotates, maybe my next one I’ll try the Babyliss, I love mine and the barrels are big on them, never have I gotten my hair tangled in them, watch tomorrow I probably will, haha give Watson a big hug and kiss from me and Dobi. Stay safe.🙏🏻💖🐾❤️💙

I love the Revlon styler it really is good , went and purchased the Dyson airwraper , I like the Dyson , but I am in love with the Revlon , the barrel on the Revlon one step styler is huge , think it must be 50mm also .. hope this helps .blessings love from christine xx

I have short hair and am on my second one. I love it! I have the Dyson and love that to dry my hair but use the babyliss to straighten.

I just bought this, but am a bit worried about tangling my hair when wrapping it fully around the barrel. You make it look very easy. Thank you for the demonstration

You are glowing in this video Karen! I haven’t got any hair from Chemotherapy at the moment. I have been thinking to chuck my 10 year old GHD away, and try to just accept whatever my hair follicles give me and work with it. Rather than just burning my hair to a cinder, and then if it’s the same as before wavy - start utilising the diffuser hairdryer! I need to get one though. It’s a long long way off, I’ll get there.

I think you should get into wigs, or even headscarves - my friend was totally into her headscarves after chemo and she looked amazing! x

The Beauty Maverick Thank You Karen! I am the same, I am rocking turbans with an array of scarf fabrics n patterns. & continue post chemo. I haven’t bothered with the wig. I am enjoying experimenting with makeup 💄 and watching your channel. 😘 Thank you for keeping this lovely community on your page, all your recommendations/or not hehe. Enjoying your life as a zebra 🦓 toooooo! I just enjoy how you are and explain and interact 😁😁😁😁🤩🤩🤩 x

This was fun to watch - I wish I looked as good as you do without make up! I also have lots of hair products I’m trying to use up - loads of Ogx stuff that I bought years ago, unaware their cruelty free status had changed. Most of them are hair oils as I finished all the shampoos.

Forgot to say that I used to have the Revlon one step hot styler and had to get rid as it completely destroyed my hair. Burned and broke my thin hair and my hairdresser told me that it's the worst gadget for anyone to used. So now I'm wary but there has to be something to make it less painful drying/styling my hair xx

I use something similiar as I cannot use a hairdryer and brush but mine is smaller as I like straight hair.My dog loves it when she hears it she runs to me for a brush brush as I call it so mine gets dog hair on it.

You have lovely thick shiny hair. Mine is in a bob, level with my chin and quite fine. Would this gadget work well for me do you think?
@pam164

Takes my hair about 5 mins to dry it fine so not long. Looks nice and gone under.

This is exactly what I need. I have EDS so really struggle with keeping my shoulders in place plus my left wrist won't heal. My scaphoid broke many years ago and I've just learned to live with it as it just won't heal. I have very fine thin hair and a bit shorter than your so I feel this could help alot. Do you find it damages the hair at all? I use heat protection and usually a thickener. Take care and stay safe xx

Thanks Gemma from a fellow Zebra. No, I talked at the end of the video about how it hasn't damaged my hair. x

You have such beautiful hair Karen. How are you going to deal with the greys when they start to bother you? Your hair will look beautiful if it goes that gprgeous pure white. My mum has very thick hair like yourself and is still dyeing it at 76 because it's two tone, white at the front, dark at the back. It's a lovely blonde shade and it looks nice. Hope you 3 had a lovely Easter and you're keeping well. I also hope you"ve got quiet neighbours. 🥰
@TheBeautyMaverick
@TheBeautyMaverick 4 года назад
I'm not sure about the greys tbh Fiona which is weird cause I've worried about it for many many years! I have such a unique colour that I can't just dye it from a packet and I love my own hair colour anyway. I was told redheads go blonde as my friend did but the greys I'm seeing are definitely grey! Quiet neighbours? What on earth lol? Do you have noisy neighbours then?

I've got a similar hot air dryer/styler but it doesn't have the rotating barrel. I've been rather nervous of getting my hair tangled as I'm cack handed and would probably press the rotating button the wrong way! I assume you think having a rotating brush is easier though? You're probably more coordinated that me Karen! Hope you had a good weekend x
@TheBeautyMaverick
@TheBeautyMaverick 4 года назад
Well I do think the rotating brush is what makes it but you CAN use this without the rotate - it just takes longer. I'm not coordinated at all lol, and honestly I do often press it the wrong way and get my hair caught but you quickly realise and let go of the button and it stops so its fine, not too much damage! x

I’ve had mine for few years & I love it for a bouncy blow dry. I have found mine is slowing down, the spin seems to struggle to turn as well as it used to. I’ll definitely be buying a new one. Looked at reviews for the Revlon & they say it gets too hot ? Xx
@BlingyBea
@BlingyBea 4 года назад
Paula Hutchins I have the Revlon and it has another button that doesn’t have the very hot heat on it, that’s the one I use, have mine for 2 years and this is all I use, course I wait till my hair it about 80% dry. Hope this helps.

I have one and my hair kept getting stuck in it so I put it away. How do you keep from getting hair caught in it?

Just practice tbh and not using too much hair but it does still happen sometimes! x

I'm interested buying this! So you have to dry your hair first by 80% before being able to use it?
@TheBeautyMaverick
@TheBeautyMaverick 3 года назад
You don't have to but it then takes a lot less time using the brush. There is another brush that dries faster and I compared them here - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_kFqSja9KPs.html

Hi- I can’t work out how to make it rotate. The buttons press down but nothing happens. What do you think I am doing wrong?
@TheBeautyMaverick
@TheBeautyMaverick Год назад
It doesn't rotate when on cold so you need to increase the heat! x
