“If you go to bed with your hair wet you’ll get a cold in your kidneys”. 😂😂 It’s year’s since I heard that! There was a time when I was younger when everything would supposedly give you a cold in your kidneys. Brilliant Karen. (And your hair is only gorgeous. X)
Actually, we also say this in Chinese medicine. The kidneys are the body's "chi generators", and you don't want them to get "cold" otherwise the chi gets lowered and this makes the immune system weaker. Going to bed with wet hair will make the kidneys "cold". (going to bed with wet hair can also lead to fungal infections, so there's also that!)
I used to love mine and I loved the way it gave my hair great body. But I'm getting old now, and I worry about the effects of the heated barrel on my hair. (Also, my new addiction is watching Dyson hair videos... 🙄🙄). Love this video - thank you!!
