omg I thought i was the only one when i tried the L'oreal brand, i got it in copper and the sizzling copper and it just didn't work for me at all! my hair is also virgin, curly and very dark so it's kinda deceiving of them to advertise it for dark hair when it don't work :/ I love how yours came out though!! hopefully i can get to that colour soon!

@@bougiebohemian5393 if your hair is dark you have to buy extra bleach and add to it to brighten the colour...it work normal for people with blond or light colour hair

Love this color on you!!! Currently I have a black box dye in my hair. Gonna use color oops to lift, loreal copper red then go in with Adore Copper brown to tone the color down.
Beautiful, I would just recommend starting at the back of your head oppose to the top when coloring. Reason being the top of your hair is generally lighter then the back because it is in sunlight more, hence why the back of your hair was darker then the front.

The reason it didn't work is because you had a permanent black dye. I used it on my daughter's hair who has locs and it worked beautifully because she has never had permanent black dye on her hair. For myself I had to lift first because I had previously colored my hair permanent black.

Yeah. If you’ve colored your hair black or dark brown previously you would have to remove that color before applying a lighter color. Color doesn’t remove color.
I used LOREAL hi color but I wouldn’t really recommend the ginger blonde. Didn’t reallly take to my hair. But everyone is different. I would do a test strand before doing your whole head
my came out very similar with the loreal and my hair has been dyed jet black consecutively for years lol . going to try the 3rd attempt colors you used!
@@gossipgirl9508 definitely mixed the ginger and Cajun spice together. No particular way. Just enough to be even. The reason it looks light in front dark in back is because the cream of nature colored my hair lighter because I started in the front. Hope that makes sense lol
Sis, the L’Oréal Hicolor didn’t work for me, I tried 2 boxes in Sizzling Copper. I look like Sideshow Bob 😂. I going to try this method you did, also I seen some other Black RU-vid girlies doing it this way and they were successful. You look radiant!!!! Wish me luck ♥️
You got this. I would definitely take your time and do the research. Remember to make it your own and if you can lift the color before adding another one. Because you want the color to take to your hair.

This is beautiful!! Do you recommend using developer with semi permanent color or will that damage my hair? I don’t want to black my hair but I want to make sure that the color takes.
I’ve never tried that before. If you want to maybe try a test strand to see if it works. But I don’t think the color will take being that the semi color is to put on top of already color treated/ lightened hair.
I’m going to cry because I’m going through the exact same thing I used the L’Oréal hi color and my hair looks ridiculous and I already did it way to many times

I wasn't really sure what products you used and what exact steps you took and why you finished off with the semi permanent colour. Would I need to reapply the semi permanent colour every few weeks? Also, I would have loved if you mentioned every product you used in the description box below. You only mentioned the company you got the semi permanent dyes from. Please update!
Thanks for the feedback I’ll definitely update that portion in the description box ASAP! And also I sometimes reapply the color mixed in with my conditioners. I ended by adding the color at the end because I wanted more of a orange ginger and it was sort of on the blonde side. I’m glad you liked the results. Much love 💕
I believe I used three boxes of the cream of nature and 1 bottle of the kiss ginger. But it really depends on your hair how much you will need. Wether it’s thicker or thinner will determine how much product to use.
