Kenzie Kenz Great video sweetheart, it was a big help for what I am about to do.lol. My daughter is blessed with hair like yours and due to where I am, the only assistance I have is on the Internet, youtube specifically, for the best way to approach it. Loved the video! I'm looking at doing this after color oops destroyed my hair!!!! Color just falls out of the back of my hair but stays in the front. thank you! Just to reiterate, my hair was previously lightened with blonde dyes, so in order to get this purple you do still have to lift your hair!

I've never put color in my hair because I am afraid of damage and I'm also very indecisive. How long would you say that this semi-permanent color lasts? Does it ever fade back to your natural hair color? loving it btw!!!!

Hi Destiny! It doesn't fade quite back to my natural color because it doesn't chemically change my natural color! I used to be blonde (using box dyes), so the semi-permanent color basically just coats the lightened hair underneath! It won't chemically change the color of my roots which are my natural color! Hopefully I explained that in a way that makes sense LOL. But to ease your concerns, semi-permanent dyes like these won't damage your hair. The color washes out more and more each time you wash your hair, so it doesn't last too long. I usually touch up my color every 1-2 months, depending on how much the faded color is bothering me haha

girl just do it! at least play with semis! Color is soo much fun. I just dyed my hair for the first time and i love it. Its such a great change. If it gets damaged just cut it some and start over. Hair is there to play with.

My mixed hair never looks that perfect *cry* also I tried the method you used of applying color once with Pulp Riot dye and even after it was thoroughly saturated and I was down an entire bottle I still had patches that were missed :c My hairs probably 50% curl, 40% friz, 10% I do what I want

Hi! most likely you wouldn't really see the purple. You might see it verrrry slightly in the sunlight, but with semi permanent dyes you need your hair to have been previously lightened for the color to really show up!

no problem! Just be aware that unless your hair is naturally light in color already OR previously lightened using box dyes or bleach, the color won't show up vibrantly! Good luck!

I've used the adore african violet (purples my fav color since birth)💜💜💜😍💜💜💜 but i'll be honest i found arctic fox (purple passion) its vegan, not tested on animals & highly conditioning & omg i will 4evr use this, NOTHING else. It would look bomb on your hair. Your hair is gorgeous tfs hun

@@PunkxRockxStar no . I used it on a natural hair client and it did not take well .so disappointed. If the hair is not lighter for relaxed you won’t really see it .
