Great video. I'll watch it a few more times to make sure I caught everything. Did you explain how to attach the GoPro in a previous video? Also, would the GoPro Hero 9 be too big?
I am using the small rig mount and the hero 9 does work too though it is slightly bigger and heavier so I would expect it to influence battery life slightly.

Thanks Ben. Yeah I would say starting out with a standard drone is the best way in. Especially when it comes to filmmaking. The simulator certainly gave me headaches in the beginning and flying I reckon could get to you if you are prone to motion sickness.

What nd filter system are you using with your Komodo ? At minute 4 I saw the Tokina 11-20 and what appears to be a set of Nd filters behind it . Are those the breakthrough ND filter or something else ?

Do you still fly the DJI FPV in 2024? or you already evolved and now use a real quad? Please be honest and share your flight experience with the GoPro on top? Does it really flies ok? Or the DJI FPV struggles with that weight?
Yep still flying the DJI fpv and with a GoPro mini. Not really noticeable. heavier action cams may cause issues but you will hear it when you are in hover mode.

Hi Joey! I've been flying standard fpv drones for 3 years now and now I got the DJI FPV. I've strong vibration issues whenever i put a GoPro on it, I tried many different mounts, mostly TPU but also PLA. Did you have any problems like that, if so, how did you solve it? The last thing I wanna try is actually the SmallRig mount, how happy are you with that one?
GoPro 8 + SmallRig mount doesn't give me vibration issues, but it blocks the GPS signal at times which also stinks because it could mean that the app doesn't let you take off.
