Those SPC UCA plays a big factor wen it comes to 3inch spacers. Nice to see im not the only one whos not discouraged by the lack of aftermarket parts for 1st gen Sequoias!!🤙🏾
what did you regear to and did you do anything to the steering rack/ tie rods? Im thinking about a similar route to you on my first gen tundra but I think I will send in my steering rack to solo motorsports so it can handle the 37s
Nice machine! I’m still waiting to pull the trigger on my set up and 35s pizza cutters on stock gears. A few questions that I don’t think were mentioned… what size lift front and rear? Even though the front is on coils. You do the gear and lockers yourself? How’s that job? You run the Atrac ever? Lovin this build!
The truck has a manual transfer case and no 4wd computer at all anymore so no Atrac to use. The lift is approximately a 3.5/3 inch. I bought assembled gear units from east coast gear supply and then I installed them. Makes it easy with little downtime
This is an excellent example of why Atrac is superior to mechanical lockers. If he hadn't stripped all of his electronic Atrac components off his rig, he would have been able to walk right through this. Mechanical lockers are just unreliable compared to Atrac! Neither of his mechanical lockers are working. Sorry, just the truth.
I'm actually getting a three and a half inch lift flared fenders total chaos suspension King Racing shocks and rear electronic lockers new gears in the front and rear end 35 x 12.5 x 17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers tires rims with bead lockers. It's not a budget build that's for sure I'm paying in 4 x 4 company to do it they're already paid in full 29k. I'm doing all that and still not putting 37s on it. I want 37's on it initially told them that. They're saying it wouldn't fit without a lot of cutting we're just doing a suspension lift nobody
