11:18 Unfortunately, after a number of months of learning, experimenting, visiting workshops, buying materials for soft pastel, I eventually gave up on soft pastels: I simply cannot live with its brutally messy nature, impossible-to-fixate 8:44 character of dry pastels. I've switched over to oil pastels, which are absolutely gorgeous and very easy to fixate, exactly the way as you explained for grahite and color pencils here. Oil pastels have vibrant colors (both Sennelier and Mungyo oil pastels have brutally vibrant colors exactly like oil paintings, especially Sennelier), too, but it has its limitations: you cannot work out fine details, you can paint only with one style because of the bulky nature of the sticks. So, I am very much interested in you color pencils on K1000 sandpaper method. BTW, it was Ede Posa from Vojvodina, who brought the technology and culture of using soft pastels to Hungarian artist community after he left Serbia because of the Balkanic war. His wife is Serbian.
