Awesome video and appreciate your philosophical approach to photography. Keep on making these kinds of videos!

Really interesting concept and photo walk. I particularly liked the orange suited worker and the girl in yellow lying on the picnic table. Thank you!

You introduced the concept of Wabi- Sabi in Photogrophy to me in your last video about it., and it has changed my perspective about photos in general. Reminds me of the Liminal Photogrophy movement that is going on here in america

This video and your photos put a smile on my face. Thank you for sharing this Wabi-Sabi (that I hope is the way to say it), and I will try it. Seems like a fun and relaxing experience.

One of the reasons I love the wave of manual lenses coming out of China that use a lot of optical formulas from vintage options while having a few modern coatings and coming in a native mount for mirrorless. I've barely swapped the TTArtisan 25mm f2 off my daily walk around E-P5 since I got it around the time it launched for around 50 USD. I now have a whole collection of TTartisan, 7Artisan, and Laowa lenses that I almost entirely use for personal stuff and even some work depending on what's going on (I do lifestyle portraiture in photojournalism, so AF is nice there after having it for years). Using lenses like that cheap 25mm, or especially the 50mm f0.95 7Artisan, I've stepped by from hyper critical focus and just took photos again. They're great images quality wise, these little lenses punch way above their weight IMO, but it's more on capturing a window into a moment rather than stressing on tiny details that people don't even notice at the end of the day.

Spring is my favourite season so I really enjoyed your Montreal walkabout on that fine spring day. I liked hearing the bird song that accompanied the picnic table photo towards the end of the video. The older I get, the more I appreciate Wabi-Sabi … keep up the good work. 📷🌞

二度とない一瞬をフィルムに記録する、後戻りできないから貴重ですね。 とても素晴らしい動画でした。

Your explanation of Wabi-Sabi with a disposable camera gives a new light to the concept. It’s been years since I used a disposable camera. Today, I enjoy the imperfections when shooting with Polaroids. Thanks for sharing!

I use a pentax 738G point and shoot 38 to 70mm f.4,8 to f8.5, for the same reason, and effect, fully reloadable.

It's refreshing. I especially like the girl lying on the bench. I guess that you could do the same with an old digital compact (fixed focus!) and a limited memory card. The soundtrack is also interesting. I recognized Erik Satie's Gymnopédie n°1 revisited. Maybe the other tracks are also from french composers of the late ninetieth century but I can't tell.

I lived in montréal for 6 months. I bought a Ricoh KR5 35mm film camera for $50 Cad and learned photography. I’d love to go back!

You can buy a lens for your interchangeable lens fujifilm camera that uses a disposible camera's lens. With the right film sim and paired with a flash, it looks just like a point and shoot camera. The lens itself is 30mm f10 .

Nice video. Sharpness is overrated. I have a few lenses for Sony A6xxx, but I love the Holga most. Its not perfect, but it captures the mood well.

Is that a member of X-Japan in the old commercial?!? Amazing either way, and always beautiful to see the Mile End on a sunny day. Fantastic video from beginning to end.

Just goes to show it isn’t the camera that make photography.👍👍
