Hi, I know this is a bit off topic from the video, but it's a question I've wanted to ask. I'm a black (female) teenager learning to do my own hair. I've been wondering whether to buy your afro hair mannequin in order to practice. Will using a mannequin help me to do my own (not someone else's) hair?

Wow @getglamfam I have a few questions they both have to do with Today's topic. 1st I just wanted to say that the type of hair that I'm talking about is both me and my mom. We both have straight Caucasian type hair. We'll talk about my mom's problem 1st.. After a fall on the front of her head my mother developed a dry patch that just will not go away and before I go out and spend expensive money trying. To clear that up from my mom. And taking her to a bunch of dermatologists. That usually don't know what they're doing because we're in Florida and we have c***** health care so 1st any thoughts on getting. That? Patch. Of skin that is really flaky. To get back to the way it was which was completely normal before the fall? 2nd my mom turns 66 this year and she is noticing that her hair is thinning faster than she is aging and I will buy whatever product. I need to buy so she can have herself confidence back. Is there anything that you can recommend for me to get for my mom to get? Some thickness back to her hair and to get it to grow at a regular rate at about an inch tune in to half a month. Now on to my issue. 1st may I say that I love ethnic hair whether it is black people's hair? Or puerto rican people's hair? I have had corn rolls in my hair and love them. I have had my hair permed quite a few times because I love love love love Curly hair and the type of curls. I like are really tight and I would go in and get a spiral perm because for white women. That is the tightest curl that they can get for me. Right now I am looking to do 2 things 1 get my hair in the tightest curls that I can possibly get onto my hair that is down past my. Rearend secondly I secondly I am. Going from my natural color hair which is a dirty blonde all the way to a platinum blonde with a very light peachy tint. I have had white hairdressers that have told me that I can't have the type of curl that I want. I think they're liars 1st of am asking you. Do you think there's anything on the market? Whether it is chemical long lasting or me sitting here and in every other washing basis putting in product and curling. My hair with those pink foam rollers or whatever else that you suggest. That's number one and number 2. Which Process? Should I have first going beyond platinum bland or should I try and get my hair permed. I haven't cut my hair in 9 years so I know I will have to lose some length but I want to keep as much of it as possible so. Is there anything you recommend before I go to the hairdresser for Me Too! Condition my hair with yes unlike a weekly basis every few day basically basically. I am taking your word as bond. Any help that you can give me for my mother or myself? I will greatly appreciate it and I just want to thank you in advance and say. What beautiful? Hair that. You have no matter how many hairs you say you have on your head. I would kill for your locks. Thanks fam! My hair used to be much thicker, but honestly it’s never been super thick and with the anxiety struggle, it came out horribly. Thankfully it’s balancing back out so I’m seeing some regrowth.

My hair thinned out sooooo much from anxiety issues and health issues, so it’s very thin comparatively. Thankfully the curls help disguise a lot of it 🙏🏽🙏🏽 Thanks for watching fam!

I do that when I’m in a rush, but it makes my scalp dry out faster and it causes more frizz when I am picking it out.

@@GetGlamFam Make sure you diffuse on cool. Heat causes frizz. And a light oil on the scalp never hurts. Beautiful hair.👌🏾
