As a maths teacher I’m very impressed at the effort you put in. I hope your viewers realise it’s all about actually practising and doing maths! Good job!
@@raven-nova275 Raven, work hard.. that’s the only solution. Believe in yourself. Only we have solution of everything in our lives.. strategise your prep. Still you have time.. don’t give up.. good luck😊
I'm currently a grade 5 but am hoping for a 6! Videos like yours are giving me so much motivation im thinking of aiming for a 7 lol! Edit: ended up getting a 5. It stopped me getting into my dream uni (uni of bham). You need to get a 6 minimum.
@zakcreepz do loads of practice questions over on physics and maths tutor and u should do well!! Dm me on insta on what topics you want me to cover in my next video if wanted !!
The one common theme that we see repeated each year amongst students who have achieved a level 9 in GCSE Maths is fantastic ORGANISATION Katie illustrates this brilliantly here.....if you really want a level 9, just take a minute to appreciate all the hours of dedication to the cause that she put into achieving this result for herself.
This is sooo helpful thank you sooo much !I am so happy because I found your video 😁😄 now i know how to prepare myself for GCSE'S that are next year😳😳 wish me luck🤞🤞
I'm a grade 8 but studying for a grade 9; this video rlly motivated me tyy! Also, my school has MathsWatch as well and it HONESTLY helps tysm for taking ur time to make this video!
Ik this is super late but, I failed my math gcse twice (once at school and once when I resat at college) this was mainly due to lack of revision and the fact I barely attended my math class at college- it’s been a couple years and I’ve decided to finally build up the courage to go back to college to resit it as it’s holding me back from so much. I was in top sets at school so I know I’m not terrible at it, I just tend to panic and so I’m hoping to really revise this time and do the best I can
@@reum5003 maybe we already have so many commitments, or maybe some have problems with time management itself ?? we’re not all organised like you (or at least i’m not lol)
Can you please do a video on how you got good grades in your English exams? I’m doing my GCSE’s now and I’m taking triple science and this video has really helped with my maths so I was wondering if you could do one for english? Btw I love your videos!!💗💗💗
Lifestyle of Katie Thankyou! Aiming for at least 3 9s , I’ve never made notes or flashcards even tho everyone I ask recommends them. They’ve just never worked for me but it makes me stressed because all successful people including you make flashcards. It makes me feel like I won’t do well. I do practice questions for science and watch videos whenever I can. Is this sufficient for an 8/9? Xxx
Mine varies throughout my subjects for example if i get a A in my last music unit I will get an A* Pe i want a B Business i want a B Science i want atleast a C Maths at least a C For English i already took one of them in year 10 i got a high C And for English language i want a b/c For history i dont give a shit 😂😂
xoxdinaxox yeah same my grades aren’t consistent for each subject like for English language I’m getting a 6 and maths I got a 4 history got a 3 which I was pretty happy with cuz history is hard asf😂
@@saniyah3621 tell me about it i hate history what do you study i do American west , nazi Germany , Elizabeth, Medicine in the trenches and medicine through tine
I just got my mock results and I got a 7 and I’m hoping for 8/9 have you any advice for me to start doing now and when to start doing hardcore revisions? Ty!! Xc
HIII, i would recommend doing loads of practice questions as it helps !! I'm also happy to help as i got a 9 in Maths and now doing a degree in it !! Please let me know over on insta on what topics and im more than welcome to help !!
I think this just clarifies that if your school doesn't help you and doesn't give you resources then you're stuffed. the maths department at my school was rubbish, I've sat maths 7 times and failed every time.
I'm current 4 in maths and 6 in both English language I need advice on how to change it around honestly I like maths I'm not good at it and I struggle with word problems like angle etc.
honestly just practise practise practise watch a ton of videos on yt then on google put in *insert topic* exam style questions and go through all of them and then mark it also how through past papers to get better at word problems :)
Obviously this depends on what you are working at currently. I was getting around a 7 in my exams but I think as long as you do many practise questions, even if it for 20 mins to an hour a day it really helps.
How would you recommend to revise for a full exam because I do really well in the class tests which only test us on a few topics. I get like 8 on them but when it comes to the big exams which include every single topic is do sooo bad. Idk how to learn all of it
hey, im in year 11 and im doing foundation maths and everytime i try to revise a topic and work my way down the book i get really fustrated and annoyed because i cant answer it do you have any other tips or youtubers that are good with maths videos?
Hi I need help I am trying to get my grade up in maths I am a 3 but when I revising I don’t want to do I need some help how can I get my grade up what website do u guys now that are for free or something that can really help me
So, I just watched your science video. Imma ask you seriously. Are you in single sciences or combined and if you're in single, could I PLEASE buy all your notes off you before you burn them all. I can't revise from my own notes, nor do I have the time to make them. You'd be an absolute star. It's literally impossible. Please respond to this ASAP♡♡♡
Tbh, science notes aren't useful. I did no notes at all for my mocks and just did a ton of past papers. I got 98% AVG with chemistry 99%avg physics and 95% in biology. Don't stress about notes!!!
my school use mathswatch!!! however we dont get any homework set so i use my own websites and they are actually very helpful with loads of past papers, videos, revision cards etc another thing people i honestly hate revising id prefer games over revision any day however if you dont get the grades now you wont have time in the future :) if you guys want here are some links for free resources i use: justmaths.co.uk/number/ goalfreeproblems.blogspot.com/2018/04/ratio-and-proportion.html www.themathsteacher.com/gcse_maths.php hope you guys find these helpful with your gcses!!! and good luck for me and you guys!!!
I found it incredibly helpful to make a poster/ info page of all the case studies and then I revised key info and statistics. I did one for each paper. Then for everything else I made notes and did practice questions.
Andrew Collett I would go online and look at RU-vid videos or websites that help explain and then find practise questions on them. For ones you don’t understand, go into your teacher and ask for their help
English Kpop Stans Are Lonely in England yes I would say if this style works for you then definitely try it with other subjects. Practise is key for all subjects!
A textbook will help with content! Loads of practice questions on the internet also helps!! !! I'm also happy to help as i got a 9 in Maths and now doing a degree in it !! Please let me know over on insta on what topics and im more than welcome to help !!
