Hey y'all! In this video, I will be sharing my experience on how I got a dream bag from the Faubourg St. Honore Hermes Flagship boutique! Are you team Birkin or team Kelly? Enjoy :)
LOL!! love this story. Thanks so much for sharing! the people watching must have been so entertaining. And thank goodness you didnt settle on the b30. Congratulations on your stunning kelly dear!😍
Tried to get one last week during my trip with no success. I applied every day to all locations with both my passport and my husband’s passport, checked in daily for cancellations, established a nice rapport with a sales associate, made previous purchases during the week, and tried multiple locations with no success 😢 Apparently they have 20k people applying daily. Hope for next time!
Such a beautiful bag Jen Jen! Congratulations 🤩 I’m also waiting on a K28 special order and cannot wait but I unboxed a B30 not too long ago( totally addicted 😩😅) Although I live in France, I’ve never shopped at the Paris stores but maybe this spring I’ll try it and see what happens. Thanks so much for sharing 😊 and just subscribed too, Thanks so much for sharing and let’s stay connected 😊
You've mentioned from the previous video that you haven't use it but if ever you will use the bag, can you do a video of what's in your Hermes Kelly. I am curious to know what fits inside. Always love your vlogs🥰
What a great story and you told it so well! I hear it’s getting harder to score in Paris but I love the mentality of enjoying the trip and the bag being the bonus. I would love to have watched people at fsh for over an hour! Please share more stories! It was super fun! 🥰🥰🥰
Thank youuuu ❤️ I heard that too especially at the end of last year. They may have been holding out on bags and items before that recent price increase! I'm not sure if I want to play the H game anymore either 🤷🏽♀️
I am so curious, I’m not sure if you’ll make a future video on this but… What was your first ever luxury bag, how old were you when you first purchased it, and did you ever expect to see yourself now owning a Hermès bag? :) love the videos!
That is a fantastic idea! I really have to search my memory on that cause I have no idea at the moment what was my first luxury bag lol. But great topic and I'm writing it down into my video topic list! Thank you ❤️
@@JenJenLuxe do you also have any recommendations for luxury goods/bags to avoid and those that are worth it for every brand? I’ve been eyeing the Louis Vuitton Palm Spring backpack for a year now but recently, I keep seeing everybody wearing it and it made me wonder if I actually liked the bag because it’s cute, or did I like the bag because everybody is wearing it, you know? :)
@@NerdyCaliGirl omg so sorry I didn't reply to this! I don't think it popped up in my comments section for some weird reason and I only saw it now. Honestly, I think it's all personal preference about brands and bags. For example, some ppl hate LV and their neverfull while some ppl love them. I was actually on the no bandwagon to LV neverfull until it came out in black empreinte and I couldn't stop thinking about it. I have used it religiously for work and love it so much. I'm not sure if you're still looking at the palm springs mini backpack but I definitely think that's a bag that's heavily influenced by other people. At the end of the day, I would think about 1) does it add something that I don't have in my collection 2) does it make me happy and 3) is it practical and will I use it enough (cost per wear). Hope this helps and sorry for the late reply!
It’s a gorgeous bag! It’s great that you were true to yourself and as hard as it was, you were courageous enough to turn down the feu birkin. Not sure if i would be as brave to do it but in the end, you’re right that you have to love it since you are spending that much. Do you think the Prespend helped getting an appointment? Also, out of curiosity, were you dressed formally and carrying a designer or Hermes bag? Heard you need to dress the part too! I’ll be in Paris next April for a short 3-4 day trip and trying to strategize. Trying not to focus on getting an appt but it is hard. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Honestly, I think pre spending helped my chances a little but not much since the SA I had was an intern so no pull there lol. I was wearing mom jeans, a white shirt, black blazer, I think golden goose or Veja sneakers, a small coach bag, and the scarf I bought a couple days before. I don't think I looked dressy I felt pretty comfortable and casual. Hope this helps!
That Hermes bag is truly beautiful✨ Hermes is one of the lux brands that I really look up to, they’re gorgeous🤍✨especially the Kelly cause it’s the nickname of my dad🤭🙈 anyway thank you so much for sharing your stories Jen❤️
Hi Jen Jen!! New here and love your first H experience! How lucky and she is a gorgeous colour, congrats!! 🥰😍 fellow luxe lover here and i Subbed! Let's connect 😊
Thank you! I didn't feel too pressured having to buy other things but my husband did want to check out the ties so it kinda worked out in the end for my SA. He totally forgot to go to the twilly section after we got the ties. I think it's cause he was ready to go on to the next appt (only him and one other SA were doing leather appts)
Hi jen jen..what an inspiring story..is it possible to ask for an appointment inside the boutique or would it always be an online appointment?Planning for a trip to Paris very soon..
What is amazing story about your dream bag and congratulation! Your blessed and gorgeous bag. My one of my dream bag and Paris is dream vacation, someday I would like to go. ❤️
@@arcilimccauley2113 I went at the end of August/start of September. There's soooo many good restaurants walking distance from the hotel we stayed at (hotel du louvre) and pretty much googled/ asked recommendations from locals
Unfortunately, everyone's experiences are different. We only applied once we got into the city and tried not to focus on "scoring" a bag while on vacation. Good luck to you
