Just do past papers (including all of the old spec ones, Ik OCR have tonnes) then repeat each one like 3 times until you get 90+%. I found it helps to stick information into your brain in an exam specific way. And helps remember phrases examiners like to hear!!
A Level Chemistry is a tough subject, I’ll be starting prep from today (02/09/22) and hope to do my exam for the full A Level this year inshaAllah! These tips and techniques will really help
@@qamarabdi254 I’m doing it privately by myself, no teachers or school, so I’m starting today on my own 😊… good luck to you too InshaAllah we’ll smash it! 🔥🔥💯

You are the reason why im sooo motivated to get an A star in chemistry❤❤ im not perfect at it but its a subject i genuinely enjoy even though some of the mechanisms r tooo tough😭😭I just try loving chemistryy.
decided to stick with chemistry but i'm already so worried about it, we're currently learning some of the easier things but i feel like i'm still finding it tough compared with everyone else in my class. also i'm struggling to find time to do independent study because the homework across my 3 subjects just feels like too much. do you have any tips on how to better manage my time and which methods of independent study are most effective?
Schedule your work days and work on your weaknesses and priorities don’t drop it bc it’s hard all a levels are hard u just need to push through and stop over complicating stuff

Please answer, if I finish my a levels at year 12 june session , and if I'm accepted into a uni after applying after the results(at Oxford ), when do I start the course ?
I'm not doing A levels yet but just a helpful tip for those who do their GCSE mocks in a couple of weeks. The easiest thing to do is doing practice exam questions(on physics and maths tutor) and memorizing mark schemes this helped me so much at the beginning of year 10. I also love chemistry it's more relaxing than any other subject.
@@justsomeone5660 my method: Watch a video on a topic to get an understanding Create flashcards on it Revise those flahscards until you’re comfortable with the content Do past paper questions, understanding how and why chemistry works makes reading questions easier. I recommend anki for flashcards
I chose chemistry Our text book is 180 pages (one semester) the problem is that the curriculum comes from The United kingdom and we study for 12 here before unie. that means that we need to learn the same amount of information in less time.🤯
I feel really confident on the content and have done all the new spec papers and some old spec ones (I tend to score higher on old spec)I really reflect on my mistakes and watch video walkthoughs and go back to the topics I struggle with & I can see I get a lot better with the stuff I am working on. but somehow I am stuck in the 60-75% range which is not enough for an A-A* considering grade boundries are gonna be very high this year. I lose a lot of marks on MCQs (tried doing them at the start or the end doesn't make much difference) now with one week to my a-levels starting I'm officially freaking out
@@primeroxx I got 3 As which I'm honestly really happy about considering this year's grade boundries and I met my offer as well🥰 I did ocr chem and my full mark was 217 out of 270 (A* this year was 234, and A* last year was 213) oh also my mark breakdown for each paper: paper 1 I got 85/100, paper 2: 80/100, paper 3: 52/70.
heyy first things first you are really pretty , also what advice would you give me , im resiting my ial edexcel exams in january (chem and math p1,p2 and stat1 )'i dont think i have enough content for the papers.
Ty for the vid! Can I ask if teachers taught you how to answer exam questions in chem + generally? (Year 12 student) because the wording of the questions is honestly confusing
Hey Nada, thank you for this video. I was wondering what textbooks you used for chemistry I know you mentioned the cgp book but was it was revision guide or textbook? And do u recommend buying the OCR A full A level textbook because rn I have the AS one
U can just do past papers and you guys will be fine actually memorize the questions by heart I actually recommend this because a lot of the questions will be familiar.

I got an 8 at gcse and a, struggling so much, consistently getting Cs. I feel like I understand the content but when it comes to the exam I just can’t do it, even tho I do past papers. It’s getting close to mocks now and i have no idea what to do
