Damn that’s crazy. One time when I was working at footlocker I had a customer steal a pair of shoes so I told the manager immediately and they found the guy through his customer profile and on the cameras. As far as I know they haven’t caught him and my manager told me I did the right thing when I was thinking I should’ve called him out when he was leaving
I got fired/quit from champs because people were stealing my commission and got mad at me because I called them out for it and it was one of the closing managers. Like you got mad at me because I’m addressing you for taking my money???
tell me why i work at champs now and they be stealing my commission too. i said sum to my manager and she basically gave me a bs excuse and brushed it over her shoulders. i told my other manager and now we have a name tags behind the cash wrap so the cashier knows who sold the shoe. i was getting mad cuz they was playing with my money too. i was a part time, it’s already hard enough to get hours so i was hot when they was playing with my commission.

However I don't know because I have never worked in a shoe store but have in retail. Im imagining this could change depending on area and day of the week but Im imagining selling on average a 2 $100 pairs of shoes/hr for my 8hr shift. If that works out that's only $1600 which would give me $16...not much at all! PPL are fighting over that terrible commission setup? Thanks in advance. BLESSINGS
@@shezzmcnasty yeah, basically if you sell over 100K WORTH OF SHOES, you get $1000 in commission , if you sell $1000 worth of shoes, you get $10, idk how this is worth it at all unless youre working there for first dibs on sneaker releases to cop em early or to backdoor them for a friend to resell them
They accused me of stealing $75 pair of shoes😂😂 yooo I was like huh, they showed camera footage n it was literally a empty hallway😂 they couldn’t call the cops or nun bc they had no evidence & I was like okay I’m going to corporate for y’all accusing me n after that shift they never scheduled me again😂😂
I’m a manager for the company I agree that you should have paid more attention and warned your manager, but aye shit happens, but why was the merchandise so close to the front entrance is my question and if both of y’all chased out then it’s not fair to you. If you ask me I’d contact ya DM or FEP because if other dude worker there still and you’re not that’s unfair to you.
Yup! Contact corporate wtf, just you being fired is not fair, unless he was “in training” but even then. Common sense, no matter what, is to provide customer service 24/7, fix some stuff around the cst if they keep denying your service, but never let them leave your sight. Kill them with kindness. You never know who is who.

Worked at Famous Footwear, had so many damn people stealing, manager didnt give a shit about the 5 step policy anymore and called police each time and the cops and other managers came to thank her lmao. Losing that much inventory wont do any damage to the part timers but it could result in a penalty or warning for managers, even if at the end of the night, the money is 1 cent off, its a potential check up from corporate, we can't lose more than 5 shoes per month or else someome getting terminated lol
nah they def should have gave you a second chance. You seem like a great worker. I think the person who fired you didn’t fire you because it was reasonable but probably cause it was in the heat of the moment. She probably let her emotions guide her decisions.

I could honestly tell you that the reason why she fired you and not J is because you’re known on RU-vid. A lot of people don’t like to see people grow. Rather then give you a warning she fired you. I have experienced this as well recently working at a retail store. You’re manager did wrong for not firing both because J had just as much involvement as you. I really believe you both deserved a warning. But hey you working hard on RU-vid and you deserve better!
To get fired that has to go they FEP you can’t get fired that you was making sure she was good. She can take you off the schedule but she can’t just fire you on spot like that the dm would have to do that with fep
