The question is, do they pay you now or after the work done and the viewer should have? I get paid first, but then I'm not sure it is first you earnings as you go, but I do need the extra equipment if their willing to help assist for parts or ect.
Great question! It depends on you and the relationship you have with the customer. For me... in this particular order the customer pays at the end of the month because we have a relationship already established and I know they have to process all invoices through their accounts payable department.
