The mighty sloth is a beast to be reckoned with. Long pointy sharp NEEEEEEDLers and foul breath inside his slothly helmet. Yet he is gentle and caring, nurturing his team with callouts and assists. Keep it up McLovin!
@@DoddsMcFodds Lol. Thanks for the great vids bro. I should probably try this because something is definitely wrong with my perpetual mid to high plat game play. Keep ‘em coming!!
Just wanted to say I have been following this series for awhile and love the explanations and humbleness you give. I have learned a lot from you. Keep up the content and the new sub!
this is better then watching lucid, seeing relatable mistakes along with your own constructive criticism is better then watching perfect halo being executed. thnx for renewing my desire to hit oynx
Seriously, thank you for this series. I'm a low Onyx player and my service tag has been SLOW for months to try to remind myself of my roots...cold, calculated halo 3
You said during this video, and I think you're abso-friggin-lutely right, learning from mistakes is something pros don't really post or talk about. That's why this series is maybe the best content I've seen for actually improving and moving forward! Thanks man.
They had us in the first half ngl, but the sloth pulls through! Another wonderful dub sir. Smart of you to refuel on leaves mid match, without them I'm not sure you would have made it!
Feeding two birds with one scone 😂😂. I thought I was the only one who had that inside joke with my friends. Next game you should use "Feed a fed horse".
🤣🤣 that list from PETA is epic. Thanks for this series. I'm still only a Gold IV but it's completely changed my playing style. Not just the running, sprinting, jumping, but the commentary on team, map, and spawn awareness is even more valuable. Great stuff.
i mentioned yesterday that i would love to see you play a series with full mechanics but only use them when it is usefull, because i think in the CTF game this would have helped. i don't know if that could have changed the game, as your team mates did not comm, but i think it got frustrationg for you as well because you knew it would have been the right time to sprint.
@@DoddsMcFodds At that point it just becomes "play better Halo". If you want to make it a challenge then it could be to achieve a perfection in Ranked gameplay above D4 or so. That would mean still getting kills, but avoiding death at all cost, because that ruins your chance at a perfection.
@@DoddsMcFodds got a friend or relative that plays halo an could use some coaching? get him to platinum, diamond or onxy by teaching him comm, tactics and a minimalistic use of mechanics. remember: Step 3: Teach n00b to not be n00b
Every time ranked play goes badly I will return to watch your gameplay and remind myself of #slothnation. It is really difficult thinking rationally in stressful moments.
Been following the series for a while now and loving it! Really trying to teach myself to slow down, though I'm not restricting my jumping for now XD. One thing I keep seeing in your videos is you consistently miss nade throws. Seems like you hit a lot of walls and have the nade bounce off in other directions frequently.
@@davemccombs believe it or not, with how complex game development is and how many platforms developers target, finding the right settings can no doubt be challenging.
I swear even in Diamond and Onyx lobbies you get people that play like their HUD and sound is turned off. These people are playing like they are low Plat/Golds.
I've been waching your series from the beginning and it has been incredibly helpful in so many aspects but the one major mistake that I see you consistently making in every game is ironically one that you are actually aware of....talking trash against your own teammates. You have mentioned that halo is a mental game and bringing down the moral of your own teammates is not helping, if you have nothing helpful to mention in chat, then don't say it.
Thanks for watching the series from the beginning. You’re absolutely right about bringing down the moral of your own teammates does not help! It’s something I’m working on. Im proud of my performance and comms most of the time but occasionally slip up. Happens i guess! I hope you can accept the sloth for who the sloth is.
@@DoddsMcFodds Brosef we are all sloths at one point of time or another. All is good, I just put in the 2 cents cause you asked. Keep the series going strong!
You ever heard of kantoraketti? My favorite rainbow six player. I believe it means something like soaring rocket. So kanto would just be soaring? Idk but yeah wassup lol
