im d1 in 1s and c2, grinding for gc1 in 2s and d3 or c1 in 3s. From what i can see you need more mechanics and you need to be more comfortable going fast. Trust yourself and develop your gamesense and have fun at your rank. gl bro
Whether you take up this offer or not, I do not know. However, I think it would be great to play some rocket league with a fellow believer. It was very edifying to hear a verse of the day prior to the actual gameplay, and that earned you a sub lol. Currently, I sit somewhere around diamond in 2s and 3s, but I do don't know where I sit in 1s (looks to be either mid or high plat). Thus, I think it would be fun to do such at some point.
Great video man your thought process is really detailed and easy to understand. Something you might want to consider doing is the wave dash kickoff its the exact same kickoff as what you are doing but you just do a wavedash at the end to use up your second jump. If done right will tremendously help you win kickoffs by just outspeeding your opponents. However if you do want to do this watch out for people who are slower to the kickoff then you since it wont be as effective as it could be. My rank is gc1 div 4 and I peaked at gc2 a few seasons ago, so if you would want someone higher ranked to help you and see what you could get out of playing with someone at that level then lemme know i would be glad to help you in anyway that I can. Great video again bro you are really smart snd logical with the way you approach situations and i know you have alot of potential 👍
@@AudacityYT Sounds good 👍one other thing about your kickoffs try to learn the speed flip so you can implement it into your kickoff because not only is it alot quicker, which will offer an advantage because it's incredibly consistent and very easy to get perfect kickoffs. or if that might be a little too advanced try to really focus on where your car is facing after your first flip so that your car is facing the direct center of the ball when you land on the ground. The reason why is because I noticed that after you side flipped on a few occasions your car was on a bit of an angle which makes the single jump kickoff a lot worse since you can't get to the ground as fast. I feel like if you do this then you will rank up really quickly by just obliterating your opponents. Keep it up 👍 love watching these types of videos
How does one get out of gold when you perhaps have no defensive zone awareness whatsoever and pretty much focus on shutting down the neutral zone and a weirdly good shot despite not being able to dribble or aerial well
Learning to shadow defend is vital for defense. Only way to get good at it is playing ones. I'd also recommend watching a positioning video from spookluke, thavonic, or any of the other high ranked content creators. Practice their rotations and it'll all start to come together
Agreed, Just backflip and quickly move ur joystick up and use ur directional air roll button untill u land perfectly. also it seems u know how to speedflip which most golds - low diams don't so they might end up winning the kickoffs just bcz they're slower so just jump straight into the ball and hold ur flip till u see the ball bounce into u and then front flip ( the last one to hit the ball gains possesion ) edit : my bad, after thorough review it seems like u were doing sideflips and not speedflips but regardless, the same thing applies.
I am plat 3vs3 lol, just played 10 ranked though, gold 2 2vs2 and ... gold 1 1vs1/ sometimes go down to silv4.... what does that mean? well.... at least I can be carried? lol I mean I def lose on 1vs1 by silly mistakes, going when I should not or failing basic things lol.... And my main ubderstanding is I should improve that, consistency/how should I move to get a shot to a certain angle. Recoveries, just being to recover faster. And being a bit more patient , but and more importantly, in the right position, because usually I wait in a position that is hard for me to defend anyway lol( or maybe I am way too pasive and dont put pressure/ I go to challenge while not blocking a possible shot)
Yeah, keep practicing the fundamentals, shooting, positioning, defending, and boost management. Ones are to be played for improvement, not winning. I lose more in ones than I win, but it helps in my solo plays in other game modes. Most importantly just remember to have fun.
@@AudacityYTbeing faster comes with time just focus on the things you are doing and you will get faster overtime don't try to rush it or you will just end up making stupid mistakes which I don't think you would do because you seem very logical keep it up 💪
