You are Crafty Hoot !🦉🦉🦉 I really felt it when you said “I watch like 3 videos and then I’m a pro!”- that’s so me . I’m a primitive rug hooker that just discovered the needle punch . You have accomplished exactly what I want to do- big rug, tufting gun. You art is insanely cool!
Lmtweet, just want you to know: You have the cutest, bestest smile ever. (I'm a 70 yr young lady from NZ so don't go getting some sweetheart ideas now) xxxx
Soorrreeee its me again! What is the name of your beautiful kitty. Oh so gorgeous (found out how much it would cost to have it transported to nz but the price was a bit heavy so skip that idea)
You are freaking amazing! I love the painting you have in this video. I got a hand turn punch needle years ago from a well know rug maker in Washington state and haven't used it because I'm ADD and try to master every craft and art on the planet (which really doesn't work) and raise two kids which for some reason takes a lot of time. I'm obsessed by tools and totally get you and your dad and tools! And am finally getting back to the hand crank punch! Your video is brilliant.. just what I needed to see for large scale and painterly approach which for some reason I couldn't find anywhere else???. Thank you!
I did latchkey rugs in the 80s! I have so much yarn from knitting and crocheting, 4ftx4ft box. I am watching these videos for different ideas. I have found two that might be unique for tufting. Thank you for sharing your talent and expertise.
Hey girl I love that you do it yourself that's the way I am also. What I found was to use carpet strip tacks and nail them to your frame and then you don't have to staple I think there is a video on doing this I've made like four different sizes and the tag strips cost like $3 for three of them that are 4 ft long.
Thank you so much for this video and the inspiration I got from you! I found your Instagram account few weeks ago and emidiately ordered my first punch needling supplies :)
I want you to know that we may be the same person. I also watched some videos of punch needling and got supplies twice and both times it didn’t work and I got so fucking mad. Finally got it right this third time. But no one tells you what needle size corresponds to the right type of monks cloth! Literally all the videos and tutorials are like get a needle and monks cloth so easy!
