I lowered my Mustang GT to get the perfect stance and this is how it turned out. If your looking to lower your own s550 mustang I recommend steeda parts as it makes the wheel fitment perfect on the performance pack mustang gts. There is no rubbing or bottoming out of any kind so it looks and feels great while driving. Please leave a comment and share this video!

Not sure if you noticed but you have a decent crack or slice in the sidewall of your front passenger side tire. I noticed it around 5 minutes 41 seconds of your video. Hitting that bump may have caused that.

I was going to go with coilovers but if I can save bit get decent ride with just springs then cool i can put the saved money towards other parts, just wanted to find out if it rides rough at all with just lowering it 1.5" or whatever it drops be nice to just have no gap in fender wells also. One other thing I see you have 25mm spacers did they bring the tires out past the fender edge at all, I want my tires to sit flush with edge of fenders was told 20mm spacers would like to just buy once not have to screw around so be cool to know what you suggest for factory wheels to sit flush.
@CanadianCruisin
@CanadianCruisin 3 года назад
The eibachs are a harsher ride for for sure. These steeda ones ride as smooth as factory you just gain some more stability around corners and hard launches. So far no noise or bottoming out at all. Ya brother that stance is ideal. My Ford dealer knows I want to do a bunch of mods to mine whenever I get it. Their suggesting the Ford Performance lowering springs which supposedly give it a 1” drop. I’m not sure what the difference might be between say Steeda sports and Ford Any regrets going to wheel spacers because I’ve thought about going to Weld wheels
@CanadianCruisin
@CanadianCruisin 3 года назад
I went with steeda because it was just slightly lower in the front than the rear but I've heard good things about Ford performance as well. Spacers have held up great. I don't even know they're on the car. Just make sure to get the good hub centric ones or they will vibrate a lot at higher speed.

Howdy! I’m from TX! I’ve driven a truck ever since I turned 16 and I just now got a Mustang so I’m new. Did you ever get Rear camber arms? I just got my 2019 lowered this week and he said pretty soon he suggests getting a set. He said it’s not a huge issue but it will wear out the hubs and cause tire wear after a while, faster than normal. He showed me the set he got for his car and I saw it in person so I feel I can trust he knows what he’s talking about, but you never know with mechanics.
@TunefullyOG
@TunefullyOG 18 дней назад
Not necessary. I know this is 2 years old but for anyone in the future these cars at most for any street driven car camber bolts are needed for the rear. That's coilover low though. Our control arms are more than fine unless you wanna go tubular.
