it happens, I plan on touching on how to climb with mercy in lower ranks at some video (there is a lot to talk about as we come to S6 so don't expect it anytime soon unless a big outcry for it is made) and what you specifically can do to help aid your chances of winning. Climbing isn't always linear and going up and don between ranks is normal, just gotta keep playing and improving! I give you good luck :D

Mercy's power is tailored to help DPS more but there are sometimes where pocketing the tank like a JQ, Ram or even a high charge zarya could even be effective! If in the case you are in a game with not too great dps, focus on dmg boosting key abilities rather than just one person to get more value with DMG boost.

Maybe it's just them having an ass mentality

nyash I am willing to coach you if you want

1. I would focus on DMG boosting key abilities and playing with the team more. Even just healing the tracer if she is in range can really help her stay in the fight and be relevant and also give an edge if she is doing the Tracer v Tracer duel. You will still stay with that main pocket target UNLESS you have a tank that can do well with pocketing such as a high charge zarya, ramattra, or sig (other tanks are good but could be in dangerous spots so be careful). You may just use the ashe/cass soldier etc. as your anchor and you can adjust accordingly. Everyone can be good dmg boost targets, just have to find the right moments and that comes with playing more. 2. Mercy is played to support DPS mainly. While in low low ranks you could get away with playing her without great pocket targets, I would not recommend it. If your team is one playing DPS that don't mesh with mercy like sombra tracer then you need to swap. What you can do can vary between games and if you think you can do better on another character you can feel free to swap if need be (unless pharmercy). I plan on touching on this concept of how to do more with Mercy in future videos to come (no ETA).
