Oh, this is so so good! I am two years in my own journey and finding what you specialize in is KEY, but it's also what takes the most, at least that's what I experienced. I started out as a social media manager, then went onto business consulting and brand creation and then finally landing on business strategy. While these pivots were primarily based on what my clients wanted (I hate outting myself in a box and I love a good challenge) so I learned the hard way that saying yes to most requests will strech you thin. Great video, as always, I am binging your channel for my research! Much love, Sophie

Good points! Running any business comes with its own set of challenges. Truly, stop trying to sell. The aim is to know and understand the customer so well that the product or service fits him & sells itself.

So informative, I am actually rewatching this. I have one question though. I am like you and struggle a whoooole lot with day to day activities because I am focused on the vision. You said you hired an operations manager, how did you go about that? How did you pay them? I am sure I will do much better if I have someone like that in my team. Thx

As our national currency continues to fall, the amount I make declines in value significantly daily. I believe implementing these six strategies will do me a world of good. Just thank you. Mozart would avoid things he knew he had to do for money, so that he could get his compositions done. That's my issue, all the time I spend wanting to get my art created, while remaining as broke as Van Gogh himself. I learn from this channel immensely; at a temporary level if necessary, I have to figure out the business end of the modern age regarding music/art (or else)...I'm confounded, but I'm listening...

how much time in advance before each webinar did you give people to sign up? Like did you advertise/talk about it a lot leading up to the webinar or did you just spring it on them? I am trying to figure out how much time people need to know before they can attend. I love the idea of hosting different webinars for cheap to figure out what people needed. Also did you run ads for each webinar or just by word of mouth? Thanks so much for this video!!

Hi Gillian, thank you for all your tips about growing a youtube channel. I have started one in 2017 and have posted about 40 videos so far, not just on my business topic but also lifestyle. And at the beginning I also made the mistake to buy some followers… so out of the 200+ subscribers I now have, some are the result of that purchase. I would like to grow the channel and start posting consistently - around my main business topic - but I’m wondering if the above could become obstacles to its growth? On the other hand I have many videos out of the 40 that are still on topic.. Also the idea of starting a new channel all over again and losing the many organic views I have so far doesn’t seem right either…
