Hi Elisi, Ive taken your advice a couple of weeks ago when I found your channel and I just want to testify, that this DOES work!! I haven’t been using weights at all and my glutes are definitely growing ☺️ I noticed this weekend when I was trying to wear a couple of pairs of jeans and couldn’t get in them🤭 I’m in week 3 now!

So I saw your first video on using body weight for the first 6 workouts then slowly incorporating weights weekly, 10lbs at a time and I just started yesterday! LET ME TELL YOUUUU SOMETHING I swearrrr I thought my ass was gonna fall off 😂 it felt like I was lifting 200 lbs. mind-muscle connection is so important and now I’m feeling it in my upper glutes! I swear they already are looking better after just the one day and the body pump is REAL. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the videos, I just subscribed!

Buuut I bet your but didn’t grow overnight like she saying hers did in couple months she’s not honest she had what’s called a small bbl which means u are skinny and get a small amount of fat transfered

@@BCofG if that’s true that’s highly disappointing!! I will say, the biggest take away from doing the workout the way she suggested is actually being able to feel the exercises in the correct muscles. I am still happy about that but yea…now I definitely have lower expectations for the rate in which the glutes will grow

I do Sydney Cummings workout and she always tells her audience during a glute training session to squeeze our glutes the entire time, sometimes she will tell us to change the technique by lifting our heels and boy oh boys your glutes are gonna be set on fire

Ive noticed that too, if you shift your weight backwards on the stairmaster every step you feel it in your glutes instead of your quads

@6:12 did you mean to say bulgarian split squats after the single leg RDLS? You kept saying that you feel the bulgarian split squats from doing RDL's AFTER them, but that didn't make sense with what you said at first.

You know you're doing well when the top comment says you're butt growth is sus lol I followed your video on how to grow your shelf, it was weird lowering the weight but for once i am still sore 3 days later. I noticed for bulgarians you weren't going down all the way, i didn't either (focusing on just feeling my glute muscle) and into single leg rdl's and that felt GREAT. I also started sprinting just 2-3 times a week to lose some fat. I'll see how that goes. But I'm enjoying your explanation of glutes bc i can lift heavy now, but my upper glutes never feel a thing. I don't even have them really! So i shall drop some weight and try your methods out

@@PatriciaRodriguez-on5dg When you are doing mind muscle connection, focus on the muscle you are targeting and when you do the rep, concentrate on that area of muscle, you will notice a huge difference

I got badly injured from doing squats, so I have not done them for years. I believe that is what contributed to getting lower/quad dominant in the first place though, as squats work on all muscles. So genetics will really decide which muscle grows most from squats specifically, which I do not like.

Go watch her first video of going back to no weight. Her description didn't help me, but I took the information & adapted it to my body. When I did this..boom top glutes started growing. I've been asking people for years how to do it. Her video is the only thing that helped me.

I guess that’s why my glute coaching has been so popular lately. As I think I may be one of the only girls online applying this strategy of starting all the way over with no weight in order to build neural pathways to muscle fibers that were not there before. And it’s been groundbreaking for girls that I apply it to or when they apply it to themselves form my vids. Skipping this step entirely will almost always result in other muscles growing the same amount or more 99% of the time. And no I don’t take it as hate at all, I take it as the BEST compliment haha ☺️👍

You don’t need weight to grow your glutes, just mind-muscle connection and some foundational movements! Trust me. I used to have a flat pancake and started with no weights just bands and my booty was round and plump just from that, before I even started going to the gym!

She made another video stating her lifts doubled and her glutes grew after she started taking creatine. I suppose that is the main reason she saw results which contradicts these body weight exercises where she never mentions any of that.

So i have been working out for a year now and i have seen some good glute growth, however now i am at a point where nothing is changing, my glutes dont look any bigger now, but my quads keep on growing. I was very worried due to this... However, i may try doing what you've suggested... Thankyouu❤

Elise, I’m wondering is you can cover hamstring growth? How to isolate and feel them instead of the glutes. Often hams are taken over by glutes. I’m trying to balance hams now with my larger quads for balance. Any suggested moves for hams would be so so helpful! 🙌👍💯

I would say hyperextensions with your feet in line with your hips (no wide stance). Hold a plate or dumbell and do reps with that into pulses once you are fatigued holding weight

I am no expert, that is just where I feel a whole lot of hamstring fatigue. I do like 15 reps with weight, dropping the weight and finishing to 20 reps or doing pulses to 20. I do 3 sets total

Try some bridge heel slides. That’s where at the top of your bridge slide your heels out away from you, extending your legs to straight (with sliding plates or towel u see your feet on a smooth surface floor) and then while keeping hips lifted and glutes engaged pull your heels back into the starting 90 degree bend at knees position. This can also be done using Trx suspension trainers by putting your heels into the handles while laying on your back and doing the same movement. Bridge up keeping legs and feet stable, then once in the top position extend your legs straight with control and draw back in with heels gliding in towards your bottom. Remember to not allow your hips to drop as you do this. You can also do this in a pulsing fashion where you quickly draw heels in while maintaining high hip position for several reps and then once back in starting leg position with 90 degree bend at knees, lower your hips back down to the floor remembering to keep legs squeezing together tho (for added lateral stability) and keeping feet in position not allowing them to glide away from your body as you lower. These can really help to wake up hamstrings in conjuncture with the glutes and I promise you will feel them burn if done correctly.
